SURAH YUNUS 1 - 109

QURAN TAFSIR ( QURAN AS IT EXPLAIN ITSELF)

In the Name of ALLAH, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.

10:1. Alif-Lam-Ra. These are the verses of the Book(the Qur'an) of wisdom  (Al-Hakim).

10:2. Is it a wonder for the mankind that We have sent Our revelation to a man from among themselves (saying): “Warn the mankind, and give good news to those who believe that they shall have with their Rabbihim the rewards of their good deeds” (But ) the disbelievers say: “This is indeed an evident sorcerer!”

10:3. “Surely, your Rabb is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six stages (Eras) and then established(Istawa) on the Throne, governing all affairs of the universe. Not any intercessor except after Allah's permission. That is Allah, your Rabb; so serve Allah. Will you not take heed?.

[Six Stages or Eras:

2:255. Allah, there is no god except Allah, the Living, the Sustainer. No slumber or sleep overtakes Allah; to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. Who will intercede with Allah except with Allah's permission? Allah knows their present and their future, and they do not have any of Allah knowledge except for what Allah wishes. Allah's Throne encompasses all of the heavens and the earth and it is easy for Allah to preserve them. Allah is the Most High, the Great.

7:54. Your Rabb is Allah who has created the heavens and the earth in six stages (eras), then Allah settled upon the Throne. The night runs away from the day, which seeks it continually; and the sun and the moon and the stars are commissioned by Allah's command; to Allah is the creation and the command. Glory to Allah, Rabb of the worlds.

10:3. Your Rabb is Allah who has created the heavens and the earth in six stages(eras), then Allah settled upon the Throne; Allah manages all affairs. There is no intercessor except after Allah's permission. Such is Allah your Rabb so serve Allah. Would you not remember?

11:7. He is the One who has created the heavens and the earth in six stages(Eras), and Allah's Throne was upon the water; so as to test who from among you works the best. And when you say: "You will be resurrected after the death," those who have rejected say: "This is but clear magic!".

16:111. The Day every soul will come to argue for itself, and every soul will be paid in full for what it did, and they will not be wronged.

25:59. The One who has created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six stages(eras), then Allah settled upon the Throne. The Almighty; so ask Allah for Allah is Expert.

50:38. And We have created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six stages(eras), and no fatigue touched Us.

57:4. Allah  is the One who has created the heavens and the earth in six stages(eras), then Allah settled upon the Throne. Allah knows everything that enters within the earth, and everything that comes out of it, and everything that comes down from the heaven, and everything that ascends into it. And Allah is with you wherever you may be. Allah is Seer of what you do.

41:10. And Allah placed in it stabilizers from above it, and Allah blessed it and established its provisions in proportion in four days, to satisfy those who ask.]

10:4. To Allah is your return, of all of you. The promise of Allah is true.  Allah created the first creation and Allah will create it again, so that He may reward with justice those who believed and do righteous deeds (good works). And those who reject the truth,  for them will be a drink of boiling fluids and painful punishment because of their persistent refusal to acknowledge the truth.

[A consequence of their own doings.* *33:24.That Allah may recompense the truthful for their truthfulness, and punish the hypocrites if He so wills, or accepts their repentance. Allah is Forgiver, Merciful.

34:3. And those who rejected said: "The Hour will not come to us!" Say: "Yes, by my Rabb, it will come to you." Allah is the Knower of the unseen; not even the weight of an atom or less than that or greater can be hidden from Him, be it in the heavens or the earth. All are in a clear record.

45:22. And Allah created the heavens and the earth with the truth, and so that every soul may be recompensed for whatever it earned, and they will not be wronged.

53:31.And to Allah belongs everything in the heavens and everything on the earth. Allah will requite those who commit evil for their works, and will reward the righteous for their righteousness.(good work]

10:5. Allah is the one who made the sun a shining light and the moon as a reflect light and determined for it phases -  that you might know the number of the years and the count of time. Allah did not create that exceptt in truth. Allah explains the verses in detail for people who wish to learn.

[The Universe is neither a dream as the ancient Hindu philosopher Manu preached, nor a reflection of the world of ideas as Plato thought.

6:97.And Allah is the One who made for you the stars, to guide you by them in the darkness of the land and the sea. We have explained the signs to a people who know.

17:12. And We made the night and the day as two signs, so We erased the sign of night and We made the sign of day to see-in, that you may seek bounty from your Rabb, and that you may know the number of the years and the count. And everything We have detailed completely.]

10:6. Verily, in the alternation of the night and the day and in all that Allah has created in the heavens and the earth are verses for those who are mindful of divine laws(Taqwa).

[Taqwa = Seeking to journey through life in security = To live upright = To be mindful of Divine laws = Being observant = Shielding oneself against moral disintegration.

2:41. And believe in what I have sent down, authenticating what is with you, and do not be the first to disbelieve in it! And do not purchase with My revelations a cheap gain, and of Me you shall be aware.]

10:7.Surely those who do not believe that they are destined to meet us  and  are satisfied with the life of this world and feel secure therein and those who are heedless of Our verses(ayat).

[56:59-61. Did you create it, or were We the Ones who created it?

We have predetermined death for you. Nothing can stop Us,

From transforming your forms, and establishing you in what you do not know.

11-106 -107. As for those who are distraught, they will be in the fire; in it for them is a sighing and a wailing.

Abiding therein as long as the heavens and the earth exist, except for what your Rabb wishes. Your Rabb does as He pleases.

14:19. Did you not see that Allah created the heavens and the earth with truth? If He wished, He would do away with you and bring a new creation.

14:48.TheDay the earth is replaced with another earth, as are the heavens, and they will appear before God, the One, the Supreme.

21:104. On the Day when We roll up the heavens like the scroll of a book is rolled up. As We initiated the first creation, so shall We return it. It is a promise of Ours that We will do this.

25:22. On the Day they see the angels, that is not good news for the criminals. And they will be saying: "An inviolable enclosure!".

35:16. If  Allah wishes, Allah could do away with you and Allah would bring a new creation.

36:81. Is not the One who has created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of them? Yes indeed; Allah is the Creator, the Knowledgeable.

50:44. The Day when the earth will rapidly crumble away from them; that will be a gathering which is easy for Us.

69:16.And the sky will be torn, and on that Day it will be flimsy.

70:9.And the mountains are like wool.

2:55.And you said: "O Musa, we will not believe you until we see Allah openly!" So the lightning strike took you while you were still staring.]

10:8.Those, their abode will be the Fire, because of what they used to earn.

10:9. Verily, those who believe and do deeds of righteousness

( good work), their Rabb will guide them through their faith; Under them will flow rivers in the Gardens of delight.

[A’maal Saaleh = Actions that increase the individual and collective potential of a society = Helping people = Improving the environment = Fulfilling others’ needs = Contributing to the society]

10:10. Their saying  in it is : “Glory be to You, O Allah!” and their  greeting therein will be, “Salam”. And the last of their call will be: “All praise be to Allah, the Rabb of all the world.”

[And so shall be the peaceful Ideal Society on earth. They will realize that the good of one is the good of another, and understand how Praiseworthy the Giver of such blissful guidance is.]

10:11. And were Allah to hasten for mankind the evil as He hastens for them the good surely they would have been ruined. But We leave those who do not expect  their meeting with Us, in their transgression, wandering blindly.

[10:7.Surely those who do not believe that they are destined to meet us  and  are satisfied with the life of this world and feel secure therein and those who are heedless of Our verses(ayat).]

10:12.  And when harm touches a man, he calls upon Us, whether lying on his side, or sitting or standing. But when We have removed his harm from him, he continues  as if he had never called upon Us for a harm that touched him! Thus it is made fair seeming to the extravagant what they used to do.

10:13. And indeed, We destroyed generations before you when they did wrong, while their Messengers came to them with clear proofs, but they were not such as to believe! Thus We recompense the people who are criminals.

10:14. Then We made you successors on the earth, so that We may see how you will do.

10:15.  And when Our clear Verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who do not hope for the meeting with Us say: “Bring us a Qur’an other than this, or change it.” Say: “It is not for me to change it of my own accord; I only follow what is revealed to me. Indeed! I fear, if I  disobey my Rabb,  I fear the retribution of an awesome Day."

10:16. Say: "If Allah had willed, I would not have recited it to you nor would He have made it known to you, for I  had remaind among you a whole life before this; will you not, then, use your sense".

[7:184. Do they not reflect Their companion is not  possession by Jinn in their . Allah is  a clear warner.]

10:17. So who does more wrong than the one who invents a lie against Allah or denies Allah's Ayat? Surely, the criminals will not be succeed!

10:18. And they serve (worship) besides other than Allah things that which do not harm them, and nor benefit them, and they say: “These are our intercessors with Allah.” Say: “Do you inform Allah of something Allah does not knows  in the heavens or on the earth?” Glorified to Allah and Allah is the most high, Exalted  above all that what they associate as with Him".

[39:3. Absolutely, to Allah is the true system. Those who set up allies besides Him: "We only serve them so that they may bring us closer to Allah." Allah will judge between them in what they dispute. Surely, Allah does not guide the one who is a liar, an ingrate]

10:19. All Mankind were but one community, then they differed. Had it not been for a Word that went forth before from your Rabb, it would have been judged between them concerning that over what they differ.

[2:30.Your Rabb announced His Plan to the angels, “I am about to place on earth a new creation that will have supremacy over it.” They exclaimed, “Will you place on it such creation as will cause disorder therein and shed blood!- Whereas we strive to manifest Your glory!

2:213. The people used to be one nation, then Allah sent the prophets as bearers of good news and warners, and He sent down with them the Book with the truth so that they may judge between the people in what they were disputing. But after receiving the clarity, the people disputed in it due to animosity between them. And Allah guided those who believed with His permission regarding what they disputed in of the truth. And Allah guides whoever He wishes to a straight path.

2:256. There is no compulsion in the system; the proper way has been clarified from the wrong way. Whoever rejects evil, and believes in Allah, indeed he has taken grasp of the strongest hold that will never break. Allah is Hearer, Knower.

11:118. Had your Rabb wished, He could have made all the people one nation, but they still would continue to disagree;

16:9. To Allah shall be the path, but some are mislead. If He wished, He could have guided you all.

76:2-3. We have created the human from a seed that is composite, We test him, so We made him hear and see.*

We have guided him to the path, either to be thankful or to reject.]

10: 20. And they say: “why was  a ayat not sent down to him from his Rabb?”So Say: “The Unseen is only for Allah, so wait; verily, I am with you among those who wait.”

10:21. And when We let mankind taste mercy after some adversity has touched them, behold! They take to plotting against Our verses! Say: "Allah is more swift in planning! "Indeed, Our messengers  record all of that which you plot.

10:22. He it is Who enables you to travel through land and sea, till when you are in the ships, and they sail with them with a favorable wind, and they are glad therein, then comes a stormy wind and the waves come to them from every place, and they think that they are surrounded with them. They call Allah sincerely  to Him Allah's system (deen)*

“If You save us from this surely we will be of the thankful.”

10:23. But when Allah saves them, behold! They rebel (disobey Allah) in the earth wrongly. O mankind! Your rebellion is only against yourselves, the enjoyment of this worldly life, then (in the end) unto Us is your return, and We will inform you of what you used to do.

10:24. Only the example of the life of the world is like the water which We send down from the sky; so absorbs the plants of the earth from which men and cattle eat: until when takes earth its adornments and is beautified, and its people think that they have all the power over comes to it: Our command  by night or by day and We make it like a clean-mown harvest, as if it had not flourished yesterday! Thus  We explain the verses in detail for the people who reflect.

[4:88. What is the matter with you that you are divided into two groups over the hypocrites, while Allah has regressed them for what they have earned? Do you want to guide those whom Allaj misguides? Whoever Allah causes to be misguided, you will never find for him a path.]

10:25. Allah calls to the Home of the Peace  and guides whom Allah wills to the straight path.

10:26. For those who do good is the best, and more. And   will not cover the faces dust and not  humiliation. . Those  are the companions of Paradise, they will abide therein forever.

10:27. And those who earned evil deeds, the recompense of an evil deed is it like, and will cover them humiliation. There will  be no one protect them from Allah. Their faces will be covered as it were with pieces from the darkness of the night. Those are the companions of the Fire, they will abide therein forever.

10:28. And the Day  We will gather them all together, then We will say to those who associate partners with Allah: “remain in your place, you and your partners.” Then we will separate them, and their partners will say: “It was not us that you used to worship.”

10:29. "So sufficient is Allah as a witness between us and you that we were  of your worship unaware."

[They worshiped their own desires and fantasies.*

*Such false deities as Prophets, angels, Sufis, saints, clergy, idols and the universal forces]

10:30. There will be put to trial every soul for what did it  earned before and they will be returned back to Allah, their rightful Supreme (Mawla) , and their invented false deities will lost from them.

[Maula = The True Master = Rabb Supreme. The extremely common practice of calling a religious leader as Maulana Our Master is a frank, deplorable form of Shirk associating others with Allah.

But the clergy take pride in it! Many verses in the Qur’an tell us that there is no Maulana but Allah.

It is amazing to note that the Muslim clergy write Maulana with their names, and with their own hands!* *9:51. Say: "Never can happen to us except what Allah has decreed for us. Allah is our (Mawlana)protector." And in Allah let the believers put their trust.]

10:31.  Say: “Who provides for you from the sky and the earth Or who controls hearing and sight And who brings out the living from the dead and brings out the dead from the living And who disposes of the affairs?” They will say: “Allah. " Say: "Then Will you not fear Allah"?.

10:32.  For that is Allah is your true Rabb.  And  what is there after truth except the error ? How are you turned away.

10:33.  Thus is proved Word of your Rabb: upon those who definitely  disobeyed(disobey that they will not believe.

10:34.  Say: "Is there one of your partners that originates the creation and then repeats it?  Say: "Allah originates the creation and then repeats it. So  you are then being misled ?(from the truth".

10:35.  Say: "Is there of your partners any who guides to the truth"?  Say: "Allah  guides to the truth. Is then He Who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed, or he who  cannot  find the right way unless others guide him to it? Then, what is wrong with you How do you judge ".

10:36.  And most of them not follow except assumption. Indeed,  the assumption does not avail anything against the truth. Surely, Allah is All-Aware of what they do.

10:37.  And this Qur'an is not such as could ever be produced by other than Allah but it is a confirmation of which was before it, and a detailed explanation of the Book -- wherein there is no doubt in it from the Rabb of the universe.

[While it confirms the surviving truth in the previous revelations, it is a Watcher over them and ignores and, where necessary, corrects the human touch in them.

2:75. Did you expect that they would believe with you, when a group of them had heard the words of Allah then altered them knowingly after having understood?

2:78. And among them are Gentiles who do not know the Book EXCEPT BY HEARSAY, and they only conjecture.

2:101.  And when a messenger came to them from Allqh, authenticating what was with them, a group of those who had already received the Book placed the Book of Allah behind their backs as if they did not know.

3:70. "O people of the Book, why do you reject the revelations of Allah while you are bearing witness?"

3:78. And from among them is a group who twist their tongues with the Book so that you may think it is from the Book, while it is not from the Book, and they say it is from Allah while it is not from Allah, and they say about Allah lies while they know.

3:186. We will test you in your wealth and in yourselves, and you will hear from those who have been given the Book from before you and from the polytheists much annoyance. And if you are patient and righteous, then that is from a strength of conviction.

5:13. So for their breaking (of) their covenant We cursed them and We made their hearts hard. They distort the words from their places, and forgot a part of what they were reminded of [it]. And not you will cease to discover of treachery from them except a few of them. But forgive them and overlook. Indeed, Allah loves the good-doers.

5:41.O Messenger! Not let grieve you those who hasten in (to) [the] disbelief - of those who said, "We believe" with their mouths and not believe their hearts, and from those who (are) Jews. They (are) listeners to falsehood, (and) listeners for people other, (who have) not come to you. They distort the words from after their context, saying, "If you are given this [so] take it but if not you are given it then beware." And (for) whom intends Allah his trial, then never will you have power for him against Allah anything. Those (are) the ones never intends Allah that He purifies their hearts. For them in the world (is) disgrace and for them in the Hereafter (is) a punishment great.

6:91.People do not value Allah as He must be valued when they say, "Allah has not revealed His Message to any human being." Ask them, “Who then revealed the scripture that Musa brought, a light and guidance for people? Although you put it down on parchment which you show, but you conceal a lot. You were taught what neither you, nor your ancestors knew before.” Say, “Allah (revealed it).” Then leave them to enjoy their vain talk.

9:31. They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their monks to be their Rabb besides Allah, and the Messiah son of Maryam, while they were commanded to worship none but One Allah  none has the right to be worshiped but Allah. Glorified is Allah they from all that they ascribe to  Allah as partners.]

10:38.  Or do they say: “He(Messanger) has invented it” Say:  Then “Bring then one Surah like it, and call upon whomsoever you can besides Allah, if you are truthful!”.

[2:23.And if you are in doubt as to what We have sent down to Our servant, then bring a chapter like this, and call upon your witnesses other than Allah if you are truthful.

11:13. Or do they say, "He invented it!" Say, "Bring ten invented chapters like it, and call on whom you can besides Allah if you are truthful."

One chapter like this in beauty, eloquence and wisdom - And “besides Allah” would mean, without copying phrases and sentences from the Qur’an]

10:39.  Nay, they have denied  that which they encompass of its not in knowledge and whose interpretation has not yet come to them. Thus did those before them deny . Then see how was the end of the wrongdoers!.

[Ta'weel = Interpretation that can be implemented. Ta'weel is erroneously promoted by some as remote meanings of the Qur'an known only to a few select!]

10:40.  And of them are those who believe in it; And of them are those who do not believe in it. And  Rabb is All-Aware of the corrupters.

10:41.  And if they keep deny  you (O prophet), say: “ I have my deeds and you have your deeds! You are not accountable for what I am doing, and I am not accountable for whatever you do!”.

[109:1-6. SAY: "O you who deny the truth!

I do not worship what you worship.

Nor do you worship what I worship.

And I will never worship what you have ever worshiped.

"Nor will you ever worship what I worship.,

For you your way, and for me my way."]

10:42.  And among them are some who listen to you, but can you make the deaf to hear - even though they cannot understand.

[47:16. Some of them listen to you, until when they go out from you, they say to those who have been given the knowledge: "What did he say?" Those are the ones whom Allah has sealed upon their hearts, and they followed their desires.]

10:43.  And among them are some who look at you, but you can guide the blind - even though they do not see.

[7:198.  And if you call them to guidance, they do not hear. And you see them looking at you, yet they do not see.”]

10:44. Truly, Allah does  not do the least wrong the people; but it is the people who wrong themselves.

[7:179.And surely, We have created many of the Jinn and mankind for Hell. They have hearts but do not understand, and they have eyes but do not see , and they have ears do not hear (the truth). They are like cattle, nay even more astray; Those they are the headless ones.]

10:45.  And on the Day Allah will gather them together,as if they had not stayed  but an hour of the day. They will recognize each other between them. Losers indeed are those who disbelieved in meeting  Allah, and they have not been guided.

[10:7. Surely those who do not believe that they are destined to meet us  and  are satisfied with the life of this world and feel secure therein and those who are heedless of Our verses(ayat). ]

10:46.  Whether We show you some of that which we promise them , or We let you to die - then to Us is their return; and Allah is Witnesses everything they do.

10:47.  And for every nation(ummatin ) is a Messenger(Rasoolun); So when their Messenger comes, it will be judged between them in justice, and they will not be wronged.

10:48.  And they say: “When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?”

10:49.  Say(O Prophet): "I have no power for myself for any harm and any  profit except what Allah wills. For every Nation (Ommatin), there is a term;  when their term comes, they remaind  behind an hour,  nor can they go before (their time) ."

10:50.  Say: "Do you see, if Allah torment will come to you by night or by day, what portion of it would the criminals be impatient?".

10:51.  Is it then that when it had occurred you will believe in it? Now? And you used  to have hasten it on!".

10:52.  Then it will be said to those who wronged: “Taste you the everlasting torment! Are you recompensed for what you used to earn”.

10:53.  And they ask you to inform: “Is it true” Say: “Yes! By my Rabb! Indeed It is surely the truth! And you cannot escape it!”.

10:54. And if every person that wronged, whatever is on the earth, it would offer ransom, and they will feel in their hearts regret when they see the punishment, But will be judged between them in  justice , and  they will not be wronged.

10:55.  No doubt,Indeed, all that is in the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah. No doubt, Indeed, Allah's promise is true. But most of them do not know.

10:56.  Allah gives life and causes death, and to Allah you shall be brought Back.

10:57.  O mankind! There has come to you an instruction from your Rabb, and a healing what is in your breasts and  guidance and  mercy for the believers.

10:58.  Say: “In the bounty of Allah, and in Allah's mercy; therein let them rejoice.” "It is better than what they accumulate".

10:59.  Say: "Have you seen, what has been Allah sent down to you of provision! And you have made of it lawful and unlawful.?  Say: "Has Allah permitted  for you or do you invent a lie against Allah".

[7:32. Say: "Who has made unlawful the nice things that Allah has brought forth for His servants and the good things of  sustenance?" Say: "They are meant for those who believe during this worldly life, and they will be exclusive for them on the Day of Resurrection." It is such that We explain the revelations for those who make use of what they learn.

34:13. They made for him what he desired of enclosures, and images and pools of deep reservoirs, and heavy pots. "O family of Dawood, work to give thanks." Only a few of My servants are thankful.]

10:60.  And what those who invent a lie against Allah on the Day of Judgement?. Indeed Allah is surely full of bounty to the mankind, but most of them do not give thanks .

10:61.  And you are not engaged in any situation, nor do you recite from the Qur'an, nor do you  any deed, but We are Witness thereof when you are engaged it. And nor escape  fron your Rabb from the weight of a atom  on the earth and nor in the heaven. Nor smaller from that and nor greater but in a Clear Record.

10:62  Indeed !The friends (Awliya') of Allah there will be no fear, nor will  they grieve.

10:63.  Those who believed, and have guarded (against evil) (Taqwa).

*[Taqwa, 2:41. And grace yourselves with belief in what I have revealed now confirming in what you already have. Be not the first among those who will conceal the truth therein, and trade not My revelations for petty gains. Rather, be mindful of Me.]

10:64.  For them is good news, in the life of the present world, and in the Hereafter. No change can be in the Words of Allah. That is the Great success.

[And changeless are Allah's laws 6:115. The word of your Rabb has been completed with truth and justice; there is no changing His words.Allah is all Hearer and all Knower.

18:27. Recite what has been inspired to you from your Rabb's book, there is no changing Allah's words, and you will not find besides Allah any refuge.

33:38. The prophet is not committing an error by doing anything that is made lawful by Allah. Such is Allah's system since the early generations. Allah's command is a sacred duty.

33:62. Such is the way of Allah with those who lived before. And never will find any change in Allah's way.

35:43. Their arrogance in the land and their evil schemes! Yet an evil scheme engulfs its designers. Are they waiting for anything but the way the ancients were dealt with? Yes! No change you will ever find in the laws of Allah, and no deviation you will ever find in the laws of Allah.

40:85.  But their acknowledgement could not help them once they saw Our might. Such is the way of Allah (sunnat Allahi) that has been established with Allah's servants. The ingrates were then totally in loss.

48:23. Such is the way of Allah with those who lived before, and you will not find any change in the way of Allah.

And you will never find even a slight turn in Allah's laws

17:77.  "If you work righteousness, you work righteousness for your own good, but if you commit evil you do so to your own detriment. Thus, when the second time comes to pass, they will defeat you and enter the masjid, just as they did the first time. They will wipe out all the gains you had accomplished.",]

10:65.  And let not  their speech grieve you. Indeed all honor is Allah's . Allah is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.

10:66.  Surely,  whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth belongs to Allah. As for those who call on partners besides Allah, they following nothing but assumption and  themselves they do nothing but they only guess.

10:67.   Allah is the one  Who made for you the night that you may rest there, and the day to make things visible . Verily, in this are verses for people who give heed.

10:68.  They say: “Allah has taken a son.” Glory be to Allah! Allah is self-sufficient and whatever is in the earth and whatever is in the heaven. You have no  authority for this. Do you say against Allah what you do not know.

10:69.  Say: “Indeed, those who invent a lie against Allah; they will not be succeed.”

10:70.  An enjoyment in this world! and then to Us will be their return, then We will make them taste the severest torment because they used to disbelieve.

10:71.  And recite to them the news of Nuh. When he said to his people: “O my people, if my station and my reminding the Verses of Allah is hard on you, then I put my trust in Allah. So devise your plot, you and your partners, and let not your plot be in confusion for you. Then pass your sentence on me and give me no respite. [Maqaami = My stand = My station = My location]

10:72. "But if you turn away, then no reward have I asked of you, my reward is only from Allah, and I have been commanded to be of those who submit (Muslimeen)."

10:73.  But They denied to him( Nuh), so We delivered him, and those with him in the ark, and We made them successors and drowned those who rejected Our verses. Then see what was the end of those who were warned.

10:74.  Then we sent after him Messengers to their people. They brought them with clear proofs, but they would not believe what they had already rejected beforehand. Thus We seal the hearts of the transgressors.

[Mu'tadeen = Those who cross limits = Cross all bounds = Given to excesses = Transgressors = Who go beyond reason]

10:75.  Then We sent after them Musa and Harun to Fir`awn and his chiefs with Our verses. But they behaved arrogantly and were a criminal people.

10:76.  So when came to them the truth from Us, they said: Indeed “This is  clear magic.”

10:77.  Musa said: “Do you say about this truth when it has come to you?. Is this magic?  But the magicians are not successful.”

10:78.  They said: “Have you come to us to turn us away from what we found  our fathers following, and so that you two may have greatness in the land?  We are not going to believe in  you !”

10:79.  And Fir`awn said: “Bring every skilled sorcerer to me.”

10:80.  And when the magicians came, Musa said to them: “Cast down what you have to cast!”

10:81.  Then when they had cast down, Musa said: “What you have brought is sorcery(alsihru), Allah will surely nullify it , Indeed Allah does not amend the work of the corrupters.

10:82. “And Allah will establish the truth by Allah's Words, even if dislike criminals.”

10:83.  But none believed in Musa except the offspring of his people, because of the fear of Fir`awn and their chiefs, lest they persecute them; And Indeed, Fir`awn was an tyrant in the land, and indeed  he was among those who commit excess.

10:84.  And Musa said: “O my people! If you have believed in Allah, then put your trust in Allah if you are submit (to Allah) (Muslimeen).”

10:85.  Then They said: “On Allah we put our trust. Our Rabb! Do not make us a trial for the wrongdoing peoples.

10:86. “And save us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people.”

10:87. And We inspired to Musa and his brother (saying): “Settle  your people in Egypt, and make your houses as places for your Qiblatan, and establish the Salat, and give glad tidings to the believers (mumeen).”

10:88.  And Musa said: “Our Rabb! You have indeed bestowed on Fir`awn and his chiefs splendor and wealth in the life of this world, our Rabb! That they may lead men astray from Your way. Our Rabb! Destroy on their wealth, and harden on their hearts, so that they will not believe until they see the painful punishment.”

10:89.  Allah said: “The prayer of The two of you is accepted. So you both keep to the straight way, and do not follow the path of those who do not know.”

[20:36. Allah said, “O Musa! All your requests are granted.

20:42. "Go, you and your brother with my verse, and do not slacken in My remembrance." ]

10:90.  And We took the Children of Israel across the sea, and Fir`awn with his hosts followed them in oppression and enmity, till when drowning overtook him, he (Fira`wn) said: “I believe that there there is no god except the one (Allah) in Whom believe the Children of Israel believe, and I am of those who submit (Muslimeen).”

10:91. Now (you believe) while you refused to believe before and you were  of the mischief-makers(corrupters).

10:92. So this day We will deliver your (dead) body that you may be a verse to those after you! And verily, many among the mankind are heedless of Our Verses.

10:93.  And indeed We settled the Children of Israel in an honorable settlement, and  provided them with good things, and they are not differed until the knowledge came to them. Verily, your Rabb will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning in that in which they used to differ.

10:94.  So if you are in doubt concerning  what We have revealed to you, then ask those who have been reading the Book before you. Verily, has come to you the truth from your Rabb. So do not be among the doubters.

10:95.  And you should not be of those who reject(deny)  the Verses of Allah, (for) then you will be one of the losers.

10:96. Truly, those, whom has become due on them the Word of your Rabb will not attent to believe.

[They have seen the benevolent transformation of the society so how else would they believe?

2:7.Allah has sealed their hearts and their ears, and over their vision are covers. And for them is a great punishment .

10:74.  Then we sent after him Messengers to their people. They brought them with clear proofs, but they would not believe what they had already rejected beforehand. Thus We seal the hearts of the transgressors.*and10:100]

10:97.  Even if  every verse should come to them, until they see the painful punishment.

10:98. Was there any town that believed, so it's faith benefited it except the people of Yunus?  When they believed, We removed from them the punishment of disgrace in wordly life and granted them to enjoyment for a time.

[37:147-148. And We sent him back to his people, a hundred thousand, even more.*

*And this time they believed in him and so We let them enjoy this life]

10:99.  And if had your Rabb willed, those on earth would have believed, all of them together. Then, will you  force the people, until they become believers?.

[2:256.There is no compulsion in the system; the proper way has been clarified from the wrong way. Whoever rejects evil, and believes in Allah, indeed he has taken grasp of the strongest hold that will never break. Allah is Hearer, Knower.

76:4-6. We have prepared for the ingrates chains and collars and a blazing fire.

As for the pious, they will drink from a cup which has the scent of musk.

A spring from which the servants of Allah's drink, it gushes forth abundantly.]

10:100.  Not any person can believe except by following Allah's law of guidance and Allah will place confusion(Rijs) on those who will refuse to understand.

[6:126.  And this is the straight path of your Rabb. We have fully detailed the revelations for those who pay attention and take them to heart!.

10:39. Nay, they have denied  that which they encompass of its not in knowledge and whose interpretation has not yet come to them. Thus did those before them deny . Then see how was the end of the wrongdoers!.*

“Allah places”, “Allah does”, “Allah causes” = Allah's laws are so designed]

10:101.  Say: “Consider what is it that is in the heavens and the earth.” But verses and the warners will not avail a people who do not believe.

[2:6-7. As for those who reject, whether you warn them or do not warn them, they will not believe.

Allah has sealed their hearts and their ears, and over their vision are covers. And for them is a great punishment .

41:53.We will show them Our verses in the horizons, and within themselves, until it becomes clear to them that this is the truth. Is it not enough that your Rabb is witness over all things? ]

10:102.  Then do they wait except  like the days those who passed away before them?Say: “  Wait then, Indeed  I am with you  among those who wait.”

10:103.  Then We will save Our Messengers and those who believe! Thus it is an obligation upon us that we save the believers.

10:104.  Say: "O Mankind ! If you are in doubt of my deen - I do not serve those whom you serve besides Allah, rather, But I serve (deen) Allah the One Who cause you to die. And I am commanded that I should be of the believers.

[Deen:  The System that the Prophet is trying to establish.

3:61.Whoever debates with you in this after the knowledge has come to you, then say: "Let us call our children and your children, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves, then, let us invoke and make the curse of Allah upon the liars."

7:71. He said: "A affliction and wrath shall befall you from your Rabb. Do you argue with me about names which you have invented - you and your forefathers have created with no authority being sent down by Allah? Wait then, Indeed I am with you of the ones who wait."

109:6.  For you your way, and for me my way."]

10:105.  And  that(I am commanded), “Direct your face  upright (Hanifan)to serve(deen) , and not be  of the polytheists (Mushrikin).”

10:106.  "And do not invoke besides Allah what will not benefit you and do not harm you. But if you did so, then indeed you will be one of the wrongdoers (zalimeen)."

10:107.  And if Allah afflicts you, there is no one remove of it except Allah. And if He intends good to you there is none to repeller of Allah's bounty. Allah causes it to reach whom Allah wills of Allah's slaves. And Allah is  Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.

[Affliction, relief or bounty from Allah must draw our attention to Allah's laws]

10:108.  Say: "O Mankind! Verily has come to you the truth from your Rabb. So whoever is guided them only Allah is guided for his soul. And whoever goes astray, he does so at his own loss. And I am not over you as a guardian.

10:109.  And follow what is revealed to you, and be patient until Allah gives judgment. And Allah is the best of the judges.

SURAH TAUBAH 51 - 129

QURAN TAFSIR ( QURAN AS IT EXPLAIN ITSELF)

In the Name of ALLAH, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.

9:51.Say: "Never can happen to us except what Allah has decreed for us. Allah is our (Mawlana)protector." And in Allah let the believers put their trust.

[Calling religious men as Maulana is a very common but dangerous practice involving Shirk]

9:52. Say: “Do you wait for us except one of the two best things; while we await for you that Allah will afflict you with a punishment from Himself or by our hands. So wait and we shall hopefully wait with you."

9:53. Say: "Spend willingly or unwillingly, it will not be accepted from you. You are e a definitely  disobedient people ."

9:54. And nothing prevents their contributions from being accepted from them except that they disbelieved in Allah and in Allah Messenger, and  they do not attend to the contact prayer (Salah) except while they are lazily, and they do not spend except   while they are unwillingly.

[2:8.And from the people are those who say: "We believe in Allah and in the Last Day," but they are not believers.

4:142.The hypocrites seek to deceive Allah, while He is deceiving them; and if they stand to make the contact prayer, they do so lazily, only to show the people; they do not remember Allah except very little.

107:5. Those who know not what their salat is meant to be

2:256.There is no compulsion in the system; the proper way has been clarified from the wrong way. Whoever rejects evil, and believes in Allah, indeed he has taken grasp of the strongest hold that will never break. Allah is Hearer, Knower.]

9:55. So do not be impressed by their wealth, or their children.Allah only intends to punish them with  in the  world life, so that  their lives will end while they are disbelievers.

[9:85.Do not also be impressed by their wealth and their children; Allah only wishes to punish them with it in this world, and their selves will vanish while they are ingrates.

The ‘dazzle’ of the world holds them back from striving. But people must strive and build Paradise with their own hands.

3:135.And those who, if they commit lewdness, or wrong themselves, they remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins. And who can forgive the sins except Allah? And they do not persist in what they have done while they know.

16:32. Those whom the controllers take, while they had been good, they will say, "Peace be upon you, enter paradise because of what you have done."

46:14. These are the dwellers of Paradise, abiding therein, a reward for what they used to do.]

*9:56. They swear by Allah that they belong with you. In fact they are not of you, but they are a people ridden by fear (that you may kill them).

9:57. If they find a refuge, or a cave, or any place to enter, they would go to it, rushing.

9:58. Some of them  criticize your distribution of the charities. If they are given thereof, they are pleased, but if they are not given anything thereof, They are consumed with anger!

9:59. Would that they were content with what Allah and Allah's Messenger gave them and had said: “Allah is sufficient for us. Allah will give us of Allah's bounty, and so will Allah',s Messenger. We turn to Allah with all our hope.”

[59:7.Whatever God provided to His messenger from the people of the townships, then it shall be to Allah and Allah's messenger; for the relatives, the orphans, the poor, and the wayfarer. Thus, it will not remain monopolized by the rich among you. You may take what the messenger gives you, but do not take what he withholds you from taking. Be aware of God, for God is mighty in retribution.

The Central Authority will be just to all]

9:60.As-Sadaqat  are only for the poor (Fuqara'), and (Al-Masakin) needy and those employed to collect them; and to attract the hearts of those who have been inclined(towards islam); free the slaves;those in debt,in the cause of Allah and to the wayfarer. Such is Allah's commandment And Allah is All-Knower, All-Wise.

[It is important to bear in mind an almost universal misconception among Muslim scholars and the masses about Sadaqaat alms and charity. They think that the above eight categories are Zakaat.

But Zakaat indicates the Just Economic Order where everyone in the society receives a decent provision.

The cornerstone of Zakaat is spending whatever is surplus

2:219.They ask you about alcohol and gambling. Say: "In them is great harm, and a benefit for the people; but their harm is greater than their benefit." And they ask you how much they are to give, say: "The excess." It is thus that Allah clarifies for you the revelations that you may think.

6:141.And He is the One Who initiated gardens; both trellised and untrellised; and palm trees, and plants, all with different taste; and olives and pomegranates, similar and not similar. Eat from its fruit when it blossoms and give its due on the day of its harvest; and do not waste. He does not like the wasteful.

In other words, it means turning the extra income voluntarily to the Central Authority who, in turn, will establish a Welfare State where everyone works according to his capacity and is paid according to his needs.

The Central Authority can set up a mandatory percentage of income as taxes on its citizens.

The taxes will vary according to the needs of the time, be it 2.5%, 5% or more or less. *Verse 9:60 is talking about Sadaqaat alms and charity and not Zakaat.

Sadaqaat are meant to be only an interim arrangement applicable at any time until the Divinely Ordained System is established and the Just Economic Order is set up in the society]

9:61. And among them are men who hurt the Nabi and say: “He is  all ear (to every news).” Say: " what he listens to is best for you; he believes in Allah; has faith in the believers; and is a mercy to those of you who believe." But those who hurt the  Allah's Messenger will have a painful punishment.

9:62. They swear by Allah to you, in order to please you, while Allah and Allah's Messenger have more right that they pleasing. If they are believers.

9:63.  Do they not know that whoever opposes and shows hostility to Allah and His Messenger, certainly for him will be the fire of Hell to abide  therein. That is the extreme disgrace.

9:64. The hypocrites fear not chapter(Surah) should be revealed about them, showing them what is in their hearts. Say: "(Go ahead and) mock! For Allah will bring out what you fear."

[It was indeed revealed.

47:30. If We wished, We would show them to you so you would recognize them by their looks. However, you can recognize them by their speech. Allah is fully aware of your works.

The exalted Prophet came to know the hypocrites of his times]

9:65. And If you ask them (about this), they declare: “We were only talking idly and joking.” Say: "Is it at Allah, and Allah's Verses and Allah's Messenger (Rasool) that you were mocking".

9:66. Do not make excuse; you have disbelieved after  having believed. If We pardon some of you, We will punish others among you because they were criminals.

[4:17. Allah acceptance of repentance is only for those who commit sin out of ignorance and then repent soon after; these will be forgiven by Allah, Allah is Knowledgeable, Wise.

9:102. Others who have acknowledged their sins, they have mixed good work with bad. Perhaps Allah will pardon them. Allah is oft-Forgiving, Merciful.

25:70. Except for the one who repents and acknowledges and does good work, for those Allah will replace their sins with good; Allah is Forgiving, Most- Merciful.

27:11. "Except one who transgresses. But then if he replaces the evil deed with good, then I am Forgiving, Most-Merciful"].

9:67. The hypocrites, men and women, are one from another; They enjoin evil, and forbid  what is the right, and they close their hands. They  forget Allah, so Allah has forgotten them. Verily, the hypocrites are the disobedient.

[Allah forgetting them’ denotes that He is depriving them of His grace. Allah forgets nothing in the customary sense. Whoever forgets Allah, forgets himself and Allah's honored stature of being a servant of the Supreme Rabb.

59:19.Do not be like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves. These are the disobedient.]

9:68. Allah has promised the hypocrites -- men and women -- and the disbelievers, fire of Hell; wherein they abide forever. It is sufficient for them. Allah has cursed them and  for them is lasting torment .

9:69. Like those before you: they were mightier than you in strength, and more abundant in wealth and children. So They enjoyed their portion and enjoyed your portion as those before you enjoyed their portion; And you indulge like the one who indulge in idle talk. Those worthless are their deeds in the world and  in the Hereafter. And it is they who are the losers.

9:70. Has not the story reached them of those before them -- The people of Nuh,`Ad, Thamud, the people of Ibrahim and the companions of Madyan and the cities that were overturned? The Messengers came to them with clear proofs. Then, it was not Allah who caused  them any wrong; they rather wronged themselves.

9:71. The believers, men and women, are allies of one another; they join right, forbid from the wrong,  they establish the Salah, give the Zakah, and obey Allah and His Messenger(Rasool). Those Allah will show Allah's mercy to them. Surely, Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

[The believing men and women, working together, do not deliver empty lectures.

They enjoin virtue and forbid vice by personal example, knowing that the Qur’an is the Eternal Criterion of right and wrong.

2:185. The month of Ramadhan, in which the Qur'an was revealed; as a guide to the people and clarities from the guidance and the Criterion. Whoever of you witnesses the month, then let him fast it. And whoever is ill or traveling, then the same number from different days. Allah wants to bring you ease and not to bring you hardship; and so that you may complete the count, and magnify Allah for what He has guided you, that you may be thankful.

Good’ and ‘Evil’, ‘Right’ and ‘Wrong’ are not vague entities.

The Qur’an clearly defines them in 2:177. Piety is not to turn your faces towards the east and the west, but pious is one who believes in Allah and the Last Day, and the angels, and the Book, and the prophets, and who gives money out of love to the relatives, and the orphans, and the needy, and the wayfarer, and those who ask, and to free the slaves; and who upholds the contact prayer, and who contributes towards purification; and those who keep their pledges when they make a pledge, and those who are patient in the face of adversity and hardship and when in despair. These are the ones who have been truthful, and these are the righteous.

 and many other verses.

In short, good is all that helps people and evil is all that hurts them]

9:72. Allah has promised the believers -- men and women, -- Gardens under which rivers will abide there forever in it, and magnificent mansions in the gardens of `Adn . And Allah's  approval is the greatest of all blessings. That is the supreme Triumph.

9:73. O Nabi ! Strive hard against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be harsh against them,  and their abode is Hell, --  a miserable destination.

9:74.  They swear by Allah that they said nothing , but really they said the word of disbelief, and they disbelieved after accepting  submitted(Islam), and they resolved that which they were unable to carry out, and they could not find any cause to do so except that Allah and Allah's Messenger (rasool) had enriched them with His bounty. If then they repent, it will be better for them, but if they turn away; Allah will punish them with a painful torment in this worldly life and in the Hereafter. And there is none for them on earth as a protector or a helper.

9:75.  And among them are those who made a convenient with Allah : “If Allah  gives us out of Allah's bounty,  surely we will certainly  spend in charity (Sadaqah)  and will certainly become of the righteous.”

9:76. Then when Allah gave them of Allah's bounty, they became stingy with it  and turned away from their promise.

9:77. So Allah punished them with  hypocrisy in their hearts until the Day when they will meet Allah because they broke covenant with Allah what they had promise with Allah and because they lied.

9:78. Do they not know that Allah knows their secret consultations (Najwa), and that Allah is the All-Knower of all the unseen?.

9:79. Those who criticize the ones  who give willingly of the believers concerning  the charities, and those who could not find  except their effort available to them -- so they ridicule  them; Allah will throw back their redicule on them, and they will have a painful retribution.

9:80. Ask forgiveness for them  or do not ask forgiveness for them --  if ask forgiveness for them seventy times, Allah will never forgive them. That is because they have disbelieved in Allah and Allah's Messenger (Rasool). And Allah do not guide those people who are definitelydis obedient.

9:81. Those who were left behind rejoiced in their staying  away behind the Messenger of Allah; and they disliked to strive with their wealth and their lives in the way of Allah, and they said: “Do not go forth in the heat.” Say: "The fire of Hell is more intense in heat;" if only they could understand!

9:82.  So let them laugh a little and cry a lot as a recompense of what they used to earn.

9:83. If Allah returns you back to a group of them, and they ask your permission to go out , then say: “Never  shall you go forth with me nor fight an enemy  together with me! You were satisfied with sitting on the first occasion, then you sit  with those who stay behind.”

9:84.  And you not pray for any of them who dies, nor stand at his grave. They disbelieved in Allah and Allah's Messenger, and died while they were  disobedient(Fasiqun).

9:85.  Do not be impressed impress by their wealth and their children.  Allah only wants to punish them with these things in this world, and will  depart the soul while they are disbelievers.

[9:55. So do not be impressed by their wealth, or their children.Allah only intends to punish them with  in the  world life, so that  their lives will end while they are disbelievers.

Hoarding of wealth and taking pride in children, party and possessions cause people to ignore Divine laws in their daily lives, and thus, they become a tribulation for them.

2:195.And spend in the cause of Allah, but do not throw your resources to disaster. And do good, for Allah loves those who do good.

8:28. And know that your wealth and your children are  a test for you. And that with Allah  there is a greatest reward.

18:32. Give them the example of two men. We made for one of them two gardens of grapes, We surrounded them with palm trees, and We made between them a green field.

63:9. O you who acknowledge, do not be distracted by your money and your children from the remembrance of Allah. Those who do this, will be the losers.

68:14. Even though he possessed enough money and children.

57:20. Know that this worldly life is no more than play and amusement, and boasting among you, and an increase in wealth and children. It is like plants that are supplied by an abundant rain, which appear pleasing to those who do not appreciate. But then they dry up and turn yellow, and become useless hay. In the Hereafter there is severe retribution, and forgiveness from Allah and approval. This worldly life is no more than a deceiving enjoyment.]

9:86. And when  was revealed a Surah, enjoining them to believe in Allah and to strive  along with Allah's Messenger, those with wealth among them ask your leave to exempt them and say, “Leave us with those who will sit back (at home).”

9:87. They were satisfied to be with those who stay behind. Their hearts were sealed, so  they do not understand.

[that fear can only be overcome with action

2:277. Those who believe and do good works, and hold the salat, and contribute towards purification (zakat); they will have their recompense with their Rabb and there is no fear over them nor will they grieve.

6:48.We have sent the Messengers only to give good news and to warn. Those who attain belief, mend their ways and work for social equity fulfilling the needs of others, will have nothing to fear nor will they have any regrets.

6:81. He said, “Why should I fear what you set up besides Him, when you do not fear to set up besides, Allah, deities for which He has sent no authority and are utterly powerless.*Think, which of the two sides among us deserves peace and security?*Answer me if you have the answer.”].

9:88. But the Messenger and those who believed with him strove with their wealth and their lives. And these have deserved all the good things, and it is they who will be successful.

9:89.  Allah has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow. There shall they abide forever in it. That is the great success.

9:90. Many of the bedouins Arab and  came to you seeking permission to stay behind.  Those who lied to Allah and Allah's Messenger- they stay behind. Those who disbelieved from them will be inflicted with a painful punishment.

9:91.There is no blame on those who are weak or sick and the ones who have no means to offer, so long as they are sincere  to Allah and Allah's Messenger. There is no argument against the  good doers.

*And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.*

[48:17. There is no burden on the blind, nor is there any burden on the cripple, nor is there on the sick any burden. Whosoever obeys Allah and Allah's messenger, He will admit them into paradises with rivers flowing beneath; and whosoever turns away, He will punish him with a painful retribution.]

9:92. Nor is there any blame on those who came to you  be provided with mounts, when you said: “I do not  have any mounts for you,” they turned back, with their eyes flowing with the  tears of sorrow that they could not find anything to spend.

9:93. The blame is on those who ask your permission while they were rich. They are satisfied to be with those  who stay behind  and Allah  sealed is on their hearts so that they do not know.

9:94.They  will make excuses to you, when you have return to them. Say do not make excuses, we will never believe you. Allah has informed us about you and "Allah will see your deeds and Allah's Messenger. Then  you will be brought back to the Knower of the unseen and the seen, then Allah will inform you of what you used to do.”

9:95. They will swear by Allah to you  when you return to them, that you may turn away from them. So turn away from them. Surely, they are (Rijs) impure, and their destiny is Hell  as a recompense for what they used to earn.

[9:125. As for those who have a disease in their hearts, it only increased foulness to their foulness, and they died as ingrates.]

9:96. They swear to you that you may be pleased with them, but if you are pleased with them, indeed Allah is not pleased with the people who are (Fasiqin) definitely disobedient.

[9:23-24. O believers!  Do not Take as  your fathers and your brothers as befriend if they prefer disbelief to belief. And whoever take them befriend , then those they are the  wrongdoers.

Say: If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your spouses, your relatives and wealth that you have gained, and the commerce you fear a decline in it, and the dwellings in which you delight in it are more beloved to you than Allah and Allah's Messenger , and fighting for Allah cause, then wait until Allah brings command to pass. Allah does not guide the evil-doers.]

9:97. The arabs are the worst in disbelief and hypocrisy, and more likely that they not know the limits of what  Allah has revealed to Allah's Messenger. And Allah is All-Knower, All-Wise.

9:98. And among these  arabs there are some who look upon what they spend as a loss and wait for you the turns of misfortune  upon them  will be the turn of the evil. And Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower.

9:99. And of the arabs there are some who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and look upon what they spend  as means of nearness with Allah, and a means of supporting  the Messenger. Indeed it is  a means of nearness for them. Allah will admit them to Allah's mercy. Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

9:100.  And the foremost among the emigrants (Muhajirin) and the helpers (Ansar) and those who followed them in righteousness(noble deeds). Allah is well-pleased with them as they are well-pleased with Allah. Allah has prepared for them Gardens under which river flow; therein they will abide forever. That is the great truimph.

[Muhaajireen = Emigrants from Makkah. Ansaar = Those who hosted them in Madinah. Radhi-Allahu ’anhum wa radhu ‘Anh also translates as, “Allah is well-pleased with them and they are well-pleased with Him.”]

9:101. And among those around you of the bedouins(Al arabi) are hypocrites, and also from the people of Al-Madinah.

[They persist in the hypocrisy; You do not know them, We know them. We will punish them twice, then they will be returned to a great punishment.]

9:102. And others who have acknowledged their sins, they have mixed a righteous deeds(good work)  with another that was evil(bad). Perhaps Allah will turn to them in mercy. Surely, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

[ Let the believers adopt the Divine Attributes in their human capacity.

2:103. And had they believed and been righteous, it would have brought them a recompense with Allah which is far better if only they knew!]

9:103. Take from their wealth  a charity to purify them and cause them to grow in purity and pray(wasali) for them; behold, thy prayer(salataka) will becomfort to them. Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower.

9:104. They do not know that it is Allah accepts repentance from Allah's servants and accepts the charities(Sadaqat), and that Allah alone is the One Who forgives and accepts repentance, the Most Merciful.

9:105. And say "Do deeds! Allah will see your deed, and Allah's Messenger and the believers. And you will be brought back to the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen. Then Allah will inform you of what you used to do."

[7:7.We will tell to them with knowledge; We were not absent.]

9:106. And others are waiting for the Allah's Decree, whether Allah will t punish them or  Allah will forgive them. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

[Their matter is under investigation by the State. Divine laws are based on knowledge and wisdom.

*9:118. Also upon the three who were left behind until the land, as vast as it is, became strained to them, and their very selves became strained; they thought there is no shelter from Allah except to Him. Then He pardoned them that they might repent. Allah is the Redeemer, the Compassionate.]

9:107. And those who take a Masjid by way of harm and disbelief and to division among the believers and as an outpost for those who warred against Allah and Allah's Messenger before. And surely they will swear that their intention is nothing except the good. But Allah bears witness surely that they are liars.

9:108.  Do not stand therein. A Masjid foundation from the first day on the righteous (Taqwa) is more worthy that you stand therein . In it are men who love that  purify themselves. And Allah loves the ones who purify themselves.

[6:160. Whoever comes with a good deed, he will receive ten times its worth, and whoever comes with a sin, he will only be recompensed its like; they will not be wronged.]

9:109. Is it then he who laid the foundation of his building on righteous (Taqwa) to Allah and Allah's pleasure better, or one who  foundation of Allah's building on edge  of a cliff ready to crumble down, so that it crumbled to pieces with him into the Hellfire. And Allah does not  guide a people who displace who right with wrong.

9:110.  Not will cease their building which they built  a cause of doubt in their hearts except that are cut into pieces their hearts. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

[A building that divides believers will remain a source of unrest in the hearts of the sectarians until their hearts stop beating]

9:111. Indeed, Allah has purchased of the believers their lives  and their wealth because for  that theirs shall be the Paradise. They fight in the way of Allah', so they kill and are killed. It is a promise which in truth Allah has willed upon himself  in the Tawrah and the Injil and the Qur’an. And who is more truthful to his promise of Allah, then have good news of the deal which you have concluded. Ans that is the great success.

9:112.  Those who repent, who servers, who praise  who fast, who bow down, who prostrate themselves, who enjoin good and forbid evil, and who observe the limits of  Allah. And give glad tidings to the believers.

[3:104.And let there be a nation from among you who calls towards goodness, and orders kindness, and prohibits vice. And these are the successful ones.l

33:35. Surely, the peacefully surrendering men, and the peacefully surrendering women, the acknowledging men, and the acknowledging women, the obedient men, and the obedient women, the truthful men, and the truthful women, the patient men, and the patient women, the humble men, and the humble women, the charitable men, and the charitable women, the fasting men, and the fasting women, the men who guard their private parts, and the women who similarly guard, and the men who commemorate Allah frequently, and the commemorating women; Allah has prepared for them a forgiveness and a great recompense.*

66:5. It may be that he would divorce you, then his Rabb will substitute other wives in your place who are better than you; peacefully surrendering, acknowledging, devout, repentant, serving, active in their societies, responsive, and foremost ones.]

9:113. It is not  for the Prophet and those who believe that they ask Allah's forgiveness for the polytheists (Mushrikin), even though they be of kin, after it has become clear to them that they are  the companions of the Fire .

9:114. Ibrahim asked  forgiveness for his father  because of a promise that he had made to him (his fatherr). But when it became clear to  Ibrahim that his father was an enemy of Allah, he dissociated from him. Indeed, Ibrahim was Compassionate  forbearing.

[14:41. "Our Rabb, forgive me and my parents, and those who acknowledge on the day the reckoning is called."*

19:47. He said, "Peace be upon you, I will ask forgiveness for you from my Rabb. Allah has been most kind to me." ]

9:115.  And Allah will never misead a people after Allah guided them until Allah makes clear to them what they should be aware. Allah is the All-Knower of everything.

9:116.  Indeed  Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, Allah gives life and Allah causes death. And besides Allah you have neither any protector nor any helper.

9:117. Allah has forgiven the Prophet, the Muhajirin and the Ansar who followed him in the hour of difficulties, after the hearts of a party of them had nearly deviated , but Allah accepted their repentance  them. Allah is Compassionate towards them  Most Merciful.

[Muhaajireen = Emigrants. Ansaar = Those who host and support them]

9:118.  And the three who were left behind, until for them the earth, vast as it is, became straitened to them and their souls became straitened for them, and they perceived that there is no fleeing from Allah, and no refuge but with Him . Then, Allah forgave them, that they may repent. Allah is the accepting of repentance, Most Merciful.

[ 9:106. And others are waiting for the Allah's Decree, whether Allah will t punish them or  Allah will forgive them. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

9:43. May Allah forgive you. Why did you grant them permission stay behind, before you could distinguish those who are truthful from the liars.

According to the ever fallible history, the three who had stayed behind: Ka’b bin Maalik, Mararah bin Rabee’, Hilal bin Umayyah]

9:119.  O you who believe!  Be aware (Taqwa ) of Allah, and be with those who are truthful (in words and deeds).

9:120.  It was neither befitting for the people of Al-Madinah and the arabians of the neighborhood they remain behind after the Messenger of Allah  and nor to prefer their own lives to his life. That is because they does not afflict them thirst and not fatigue and not hunger  in the way of Allah, nor they take any step to raise the anger of disbelievers nor inflict any injury upon an enemy, but it is written to their credit as a  righteous deeds . Allah  does not allow to be lost the reward of the  gooddoers.

[Muhsin = A benefactor of humanity = One who serves people = Whoever helps the creation = A doer of good. Anger during combat deters sound planning. Muhsin, in this sense, may refer to the one engaged in benign aggression self-defense as opposed to malignant aggression unjust war.]

9: 121. Neither do they spend any contribution -- small or great -- nor across a valley, but it is written to their credit that Allah may recompense them with the best of what they used to do.

9:122. And it is not  for the believers to go out  all together. Of  every group of believers let some of them come forth, that they may  obtain understanding in deen(the Quranic system of life), and that they may warn their people when they return to them, so that they may beware.

9:123. O you who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are close to you, and let them find harshness in you; and know that Allah is with those who have righteous.

9:124. And whenever is revealed a Surah, some of them say: “Which one of you has  increased in faith”? As for those who believe, it has increased their faith, and they rejoice.

9:125. But as for those in their hearts is a disease, it increase them in foulness to their foulness. And they die while they are disbelievers(refusing to acknowledge the truth).

9:126. Do they not see that they are tired in every year  once or twice ?Yet still they do not  repent, nor do they take heed.

[Tested at your hands. 9:14. Fight them. Allah will punish them by your hands and  humiliate them and give you victory over them, and  heal the hearts of the believers ,].

9:127. And whenever is revealed a Surah, they look at one another (saying): “Does anyone see you” Then they turn away whenever. Allah has turned away their hearts because they are people that do not understand.

9:128.  There has come to you a Messenger from among yourselves. Grieves to him is what you suffer;  Allah is concerned over you  and to the believers is kind and merciful.

9:129.  But if they turn away, they say: “Allah is sufficient for me. There is no God except Allah , in Allah I put my trust and He is the Rabb of the Mighty Throne.”

SURAH TAUBAH 1 - 50

QURAN TAFSIR ( QURAN AS IT EXPLAIN ITSELF)

SURAH AT TAUBA

In the Name of ALLAH, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.

9:1. Freedom from (all) obligations (is declared) from Allah and His Messenger  towards those of the Pagans(Mushrikin), with whom you made a treaty.

[9:4. Except for those of the polytheists (Mushrikin) with whom you have a treaty, and they have not subsequently failed you, nor have they helped others against you. So fulfill their treaty with them until  their term. Allah loves those who have righteous.]

9:2.  So travel freely for four months throughout the land, but know that you cannot escape  Allah; And Allah will disgrace upon all who refuse to acknowledge the truth!".

[Four months of peacetime

*9:36. The Central Authority will subdue the aggressors]*

9:3.  And a declaration from Allah and His Messenger to mankind on the greatest day of Pilgrimage (Hajj) that Allah is free from obligations to the polytheists (Mushrikin )and so is His Messenger. So if you repent, it is best for you, but if you turn away, then know that you cannot escape Allah. And give glad tidings to those who disbelieve of a painful punishment.

9:4.  Except for those of the polytheists (Mushrikin) with whom you have a treaty, and they have not subsequently failed you, nor have they helped others against you. So fulfill their treaty with them until  their term. Allah loves those who have righteous.

9:5. When the Sacred Months are past, (and they refuse to make peace) then fight the polytheists (Mushrikin) wherever you find them, and capture them and surround them, and stand against them at every point. But if they repent and perform the Salah and  in setting up the Economic Order of Zakaat, then leave their way free.  Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

[The four Sacred Months forbidden for any warfare: From the 12th month, Zil-Hajjahup to the 3rd month,Rabi'ul Awwal

2:193-195.  And fight them so there is no more persecution, and so that the system is for Allah. If they cease, then there will be no aggression except against the wicked.

The restricted month may be met within the restricted month, and what is unlawful may be met with retaliation. Whoever attacks you, then you shall attack him the same as he attacked you; and be aware of Allah, and know that Allah is with the righteous.

*And spend in the cause of Allah, but do not throw your resources to disaster. And do good, for Allah loves those who do good.

9:36. The count of the months with Allah is twelve months in Allah book the day He created the heavens and the earth; four of them are restricted. This is the correct system; so do not wrong yourselves in them. Fight those who set up partners collectively as they fight you collectively. Know that Allah is with the righteous

Some critics of Islam call this verse as the “Verse of Sword” presenting it out of context. Also, they present it as applicable for all times while it refers only to the aggressors against the Prophet and his companions in Makkah.

9:1.  Freedom from (all) obligations (is declared) from Allah and His Messenger  towards those of the Pagans(Mushrikin), with whom you made a treaty.]

9:6.  And if any of the polytheists (Mushrikin) seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that they may hear the Word of Allah (the Qur'an) and then escort him to a place where he can be safe, that is because since they are a people who do not know.

9:7.  How can there be a covenant with Allah and with His Messenger for the Mushrikin except those with whom you made a covenant near the Al-Masjid Al-Haram ? So long as they are upright with you, then you be upright with them. Allah loves those who have righteous.

9:8.  How can there be a treaty when they come over you, they do not regard the ties any rights of kinship nor any pledge. They seek to please you with their words, but their hearts deny, and most of them are definitely disobedient.

[Faasiqeen = Those who drift away]

9:9.  They have purchased with the verses of Allah a little gain, and they hinder people from His way; Evil is that what they used to do.

[This trade, frequently mentioned in the Qur’an, indicates: Fulfilling selfish desires for instant gains at the cost of disregarding Permanent Moral Values]

9:10.  They don't respect  those who  are believers, nor a kinship, nor a pledge! These are the transgressors.

9:11.  But if they repent, perform the contact prayer (Salah) and give the obligatory charity (Zakah), then they are your brethren in aldeen.  And we explain the verses in detail for people who know.

[The usual translation of this verse conveys the meaning that if they start praying five times a day and give 2.5% poor-due per year, then they are your brothers in religion. This interpretation goes directly against the all-encompassing Ordinance of Allah that there is no compulsion or coercion in Deen Islam.

2:256.  There is no compulsion in the system; the proper way has been clarified from the wrong way. Whoever rejects evil, and believes in Allah, indeed he has taken grasp of the strongest hold that will never break. Allah is Hearer, Knower.]

9:12.  But if they break their oaths after making their pledge, and attack your system (aldeen) with disapproval and criticism, then you fight against the leaders of Paganisam (disbelief) -- for surely, their oaths are nothing to them -- perhaps they will then cease.

9:13.  Will you not fight a people who break their oaths and intended to expel the Messenger while they were the ones who who attacked you first ? Do you fear them?. But Allah has more right that you should fear Allah, if you are believers.

9:14.  Fight them. Allah will punish them by your hands and  humiliate them and give you victory over them, and  heal the hearts of the believers ,

9:15.  And remove the anger from their  hearts. Allah accepts the repentance of whom Allah wills. Allah is All-Knower, All-Wise.

9:16.  Or Do you think that you would be left alone?.  Allah will come to distinguish those of you who striven hard  and did not  take other than Allah and His Messenger, and the believers. Allah is aware of what you do.

9:17.  It is not for the polytheists (Mushrikin), to maintain the Masjids of Allah, while they bear witness against themselves that they are denying the truth. All their works are in vain and  they will abide in the fire.

[9:107. There are those who abuse the masjid by practicing idol worship, dividing the believers, and providing comfort to those who oppose Allah and His messenger. They solemnly swear: "Our intentions are honorable!" Allah bears witness that they are liars.

30:31. You shall submit to Him, reverence Him, observe the Contact Prayers (Salat), and - whatever you do - do not ever fall into idol worship.

72:18.  And the Masjids, one and all, belong to Allah alone. ((Adoration and submission are due to none but Allah.) So, do not call upon anyone along with Allah.

Pilgrimage of the House is a duty unto all mankind, not Muslims alone.

3:97. In it are clear signs: the station of Abraham. And whoever enters it will be secure. And Allah is owed from the people to make Pilgrimage to the Sanctuary, whoever can make a path to it. And whoever rejects, then Allah has no need of the worlds.]

9:18. The Masjids of Allah shall be maintained only by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day; Perform the contact prayer(Salah), and give the obligatory charity (Zakah) and do not fear except Allah. They are the ones  who are rightly guided.*

[Ya’mur = Maintains or administers.]

9:19.  Do you consider providing water to pilgrims and the maintenance of Al-Masjid Al-Haram as equal to the work of him who  has conviction in Allah and the Last Day, and then strives in the cause of Allah? They are not equal In the sight of Allah. And Allah does not guide those people who are the wrongdoers.

[Zaalim = One who displaces something from its rightful place = Choosing to do wrong]

9:20.  Those who believed and emigrated and strove in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives, are far higher in degree with Allah. They are the ones truly winners.

9:21.  Their Rabb gives them glad tidings of mercy from Allah, and Allah being pleased and of paradise for them wherein are everlasting delights.

9:22.  They will dwell therein forever. Verily,  Allah has with him a great reward.

9:23.  O believers!  Do not Take as  your fathers and your brothers as befriend if they prefer disbelief to belief. And whoever take them befriend , then those they are the  wrongdoers.

9:24. Allah does not guide the evil-doers.

9:25.  Allah has helped you on  many regions, and on the day of Hunayn, when you great number pleased you, but it did not avail you at all, and the earth, vast as it is, was straitened for you, then you turned back in retreat.

9:26. Then Allah did send down (Sakinah) tranquility on His Messenger, and on the believers, and sent down forces  which you did not see, and punished the disbelievers. Such is the recompense of disbelievers.

[The Messenger led them from chaos back to discipline, and boosted their morale. That was the army unseen.

3:125.  Indeed, if you are patient and are righteous and they come and attack you, He will supply you with five thousand of the angels battle trained.

8:10.  Allah made it only as glad tiding, and that your hearts be at rest therewith. And there is no victory except from Allah. Allah is Almighty, All-Wise.

9:40.  If you do not help him, then Allah has helped him. When those who rejected expelled him, he was one of only two, and when both were in the cave, he said to his friend: "Do not grieve, for Allah is with us." So Allah sent down tranquility over him and He supported him with soldiers that you did not see, and He made the word of those who rejected be the lowest, and Allah word be the highest. Allah is Noble, Wise.

41:30.  Surely, those who have said, "Our Rabb is Allah," then they did right, the controllers will descend upon them: "You shall not fear, nor shall you grieve. Rejoice in the good news of Paradise that you have been promised."

48:4.  Allah is the One who sends down tranquility into the hearts of those who acknowledge, so that they may increase in acknowledgement along with their present acknowledgement. To Allah belongs the soldiers of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is Knowledgeable, Wise. ]

9:27.  Then Allah will accept the repentance of whom Allah wanted. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

9:28.  O you who believe! Verily, the polytheist (Mushrikin) are impure. So let them not come near Al-Masjid Al-Haram after this year; And if you fear poverty, Allah will make you rich  if He wills  by His bounty. Surely, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

[9:18. The Masjids of Allah shall be maintained only by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day; Perform the contact prayer(Salah), and give the obligatory charity (Zakah) and do not fear except Allah. They are the ones  who are rightly guided.

3:97.  In it are clear signs: the station of Abraham. And whoever enters it will be secure. And Allah is owed from the people to make Pilgrimage to the Sanctuary, whoever can make a path to it. And whoever rejects, then Allah has no need of the worlds.

22:27.  Call out to people with the Pilgrimage, they will come to you walking and on every transport, they will come from every deep enclosure.]

9:29.  Fight against those who do not  believe Allah nor the Last Day, nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, and those who acknowledge not the system (deen) of truth, until they humbly pay tax with their own hands.

[Fight back’

9:1.  Freedom from (all) obligations (is declared) from Allah and His Messenger  towards those of the Pagans(Mushrikin), with whom you made a treaty.

Tasreef.  Jizyah = War Reparations, Damages to be paid by the aggressors, and not any kind of ‘tribute or tax’ as generally but erroneously translated. 'Mufridaat-e-Raaghib'. The Arabic word for tribute is “Kharaj”.

18:94.  They said, "O Two Eras, Gog and Magog are destroyers of the land, and so shall we make a tribute for you that you will make between us and them a barrier?"* *‘Kharjan’]

9:30.  And the Jews say: “(Uzayr)Ezra  is the son of Allah,” and the Christians have said the same “The Messiah is the son of Allah.” That is their saying with their mouths, resembling the saying of those disbelievers who lived before them had said. May Allah destroy them, wherever they are deluded away from the truth!

[Many Jews in the Arabian Peninsula used to believe that Osiris, the Egyptian idol, was Allah Son while others thought of Ezra, who restored the Taurat after it had been lost in the Babylonian Exile, as Allah Son. Uzayr applies to Ezra as well as Osiris.

20:88.   Allah then produced for them a statue of a calf that emitted a sound. So they said, "This is your Allah and the Allah of Musa, but he had forgotten!"]

9:31.  They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their monks to be their Rabb besides Allah, and the Messiah son of Maryam, while they were commanded to worship none but One Allah  none has the right to be worshiped but Allah. Glorified is Allah they from all that they ascribe to  Allah as partners.

9:32.  They want to extinguish Allah's Light with their mouths, but Allah will not allow except that Allah Light should be perfected even though the disbelievers hate it.

9:33.  Allah is the one who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the deen of truth, to make it superior over all deen even though the associate others with Allah (Mushrikin)dislike it.

[5:3. Prohibited for you are animals that die of themselves, blood, the meat of pigs, and animals dedicated to other than Allah. (Animals that die of themselves include those) strangled, struck with an object, fallen from a height, gored, attacked by a wild animal - unless you save your animal before it dies - and animals sacrificed on altars. Also prohibited is dividing the meat through a game of chance; this is an abomination. Today, the disbelievers have given up concerning (the eradication of) your deen (system); do not fear them and fear Me instead. Today, I have completed your deen (system), perfected My blessing upon you, and I have decreed Submission as the deen (system) for you. If one is forced by famine (to eat prohibited food), without being deliberately sinful, then Allah is Forgiver, Merciful.*

9:31. They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their monks to be their Rabb besides Allah, and the Messiah son of Maryam, while they were commanded to worship none but One Allah  none has the right to be worshiped but Allah. Glorified is Allah they from all that they ascribe to  Allah as partners.”

13:31.  If there were a Quran/recitation with which mountains were moved, the earth were sliced, or the dead were made to speak with it, Allah is all matters. Did not those who acknowledge know that if Allah wished He would have guided all the people? As for those who reject, until Allah promise comes true, a disaster will continue to strike them or alight at near their homes because of what they do. Allah does not breach the appointment.

14:48.  The day the earth is replaced with another earth, as are the heavens, and they will appear before Allah, the One, the Irresistible.

18:48.  They are displayed before your Rabb as a column: "You have come to Us as We had created you the first time. No, you claimed We would not make an appointment for you!"

41:53.  We will show them Our signs in the horizons, and within themselves, until it becomes clear to them that this is the truth. Is it not enough that your Rabb is witness over all things?

48:28.  Allah is the One who sent His messenger with the guidance and the system of truth, so that it would expose all other systems. Allah is sufficient as a witness.

51:20.  In the earth are signs for those who reason.

61:8.  They wish to put out Allah light with their mouths. But Allah will continue with Allah light, even if the ingrates dislike it.

The Qur’anic Deen will prevail over all religions.

This refers to Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Zoroastrianism and all other forms of ‘Isms’ and religion, including the sects that are now present in the name of Islam. Please remember that no sect can be considered Islamic. DEEN in the Sight of God is nothing but Al-Islam 5:3.

But next to religions, the Qur’anic System of Life will also dominate and prevail over all manmade political and social systems such as Communism, Atheism, Secularism, Secular Democracy, Despotism, Theocracy, Monarchy, all “isms” such as “Humanism” Socialism, Idol worship in any form, Sufism and Capitalism. This will happen as humanity, after the centuries old, protracted toil of trial and error will come to intellectually realize, and accept the Supremacy of the Final Testament, Al-Qur’an]

9:34.  O you who believe! Verily, there are many of the Ahbar (rabbis) and the Ruhban (monks) who devour the wealth of mankind in falsehood, and hinder (them) from the way of Allah. And those who hoard up gold and silver and do not spend it in the way of Allah, announce unto them a painful punishment.

[Ahbaar = Clergy of any religion. Ruhbaan = Monks, Yogis and Sufis]

9:35.  On the Day when that will be heated in the fire of Hell and with it will be branded their foreheads, their flanks, and their backs,  “This is the treasure which you hoarded for yourselves. Now taste of what you used to howard.”

9:36.  Verily, the number of months with Allah is twelve months (in a year), so it was ordained by Allah on the Day when Allah created the heavens and the earth; of them four are sacred. That is the right system(aldeen), so do not wrong  yourselves in them, and fight against those who setup partners (Mushrikin) collectively as they fight against you collectively. But know that Allah is with those who have  righteous(Taqwa).

[2:193-195.And fight them so there is no more persecution, and so that the system is for Allah.

And spend in the cause of Allah, but do not throw your resources to disaster. And do good, for Allah loves those who do good.

Mankind, through international treaties, must agree to shun all kind of warfare during these four months. This will give them a cooling off period that sense may prevail over emotions. Four Sacred Months for peacetime

2:194.The restricted month may be met within the restricted month, and what is unlawful may be met with retaliation. Whoever attacks you, then you shall attack him the same as he attacked you; and be aware of Allah, and know that Allah is with the righteous.

9:1.  Freedom from (all) obligations (is declared) from Allah and His Messenger  towards those of the Pagans(Mushrikin), with whom you made a treaty.

From the 12th lunar month of Pilgrimage to the third month]

9:37.  Altering the Sacred Month is only an addition to disbelief: thereby the disbelievers are led astray, for they make it lawful one year and forbid it another year in order to adjust the number of months forbidden by Allah, and make such forbidden ones lawful. The evil of their deeds is made fair-seem pleasing to them. Allah does not guide those who choose to reject the truth (disbelievers).

9:38.  O you who believe! What is the matter with you, that when you are asked to go forth in the cause of Allah, you cling heavily to the earth. Are you pleased with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But the enjoyment of this worldly life compared to the Hereafter is nothing.

9:39.  If you not go forth, Allah will punish you with a painful punishment and will replace you with another nation. You cannot harm Him at all, and Allah  has power able to do all things.

[Only the competent nations live honorably on earth.

21:105.  We have written in the scriptures (alzzaboor): 'After the reminder, the earth will be inherited by My servants will inherit the earth.

24:55.  Allah promises those among you who acknowledge and promote reforms, that He will make them successors on earth, as He made successors of those before them, He will enable for them their system which He has approved for them, and He will substitute security for them in place of fear, that they serve Me and do not associate anything with Me. As for those who reject after that, they are the transgressors. ]

9:40.  If you not help him, Allah helped him. when the disbelievers drove him out, the second of the two; When they were both in the cave, he said to his companion: “Do  not grieve, surely, Allah is with us.” Then Allah sent down Allah (Sakinah) (calmness, tranquility, peace) upon him, and supported him with forces  which you did not see, and made the word of those who disbelieved the lowest, while the Word of Allah that became the highest; And Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

9:41.  Go forth lightl or heavy, and strive hard with your wealth and your lives in the way of Allah. This is best for you, if you but knew.

9:42.  Had there been immediate gain and an easy journey, they would have followed you, but the distance was long for them; and they will swear by Allah: “If we could have, we would  have come with you.” They destroy themselves, and Allah knows that they are surely liars.

9:43.  May Allah forgive you. Why did you grant them permission stay behind, before you could distinguish those who are truthful from the liars.

[The permission gave the hypocrites an excuse to stay back]

9:44.  Those who truly believe in Allah and the Last Day, Do not ask you for exemption from striving with their wealth and their lives; And Allah is the All-Knower of those who have righteous.

9:45.  It is only those ask your leave, who do not truly believe in Allah and the Last Day and whose hearts are in doubt. So in their doubts they waver.

9:46.  And if they had wished to go out, certainly, they would have made some preparation for it; but Allah disliked to their being sent forth, so He made them lag behind, and it was said to them: “Stay behind with those who are sitting back.

9:47.  If they Had they gone with you, they would have increased you except in confusion, and they would have been active among you nothing except disorder, and they would have hurried -- and there are some among you who would have listened to them. And Allah is the All-Knower of the wrongdoers.

9:48.  They had sought  to create dissension among you before, and raised difficulties  for you, They  did that  until the truth  came  and the decree of Allah became manifest the order of Allah  while they hated it.

9:49.  And among them is he who says: “Grant me leave and put me not into trial.” Surely, they have fallen into trial. And Hell will surely surround the disbelievers.

9:50.  If some good comes to you, it distresses them, and if  calamity befalls you, they say: “We took our precaution beforehand,” and they turn away while they are rejoicing.

MUSLIMS SAY THE QURAN IS NOT DETAILED OR ELABORATED

Muslims say the Quran is not detailed or elaborated, BUT Allah says:

Alif, Lam, Ra. [This is] a Book whose verses are perfected and then presented in detail from [one who is] Wise and Acquainted. (11:1)

And they do not come to you with an argument except that We bring you the truth and the best explanation. (25:33)

We have certainly brought them a Book which We explained with knowledge—a guide and mercy for those who believe. (7:52)

There was certainly in their stories a lesson for those of understanding. Never was the Qur’an a narration invented, but a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of all things and guidance and mercy for a people who believe. (12:111)

And this (is the) way (of) your Lord - straight. Certainly We have detailed the Verses for a people who take heed. (6:127)

A Book whose verses have been detailed, an Arabic Qur’an for a people who know, (41:3)

Then is it other than Allah I should seek as judge while it is He who has revealed to you the Book explained in detail? (6:114)

He sets forth to you an example from yourselves. Is for you among what possess your right hands any partners in what We have provided you so you in it (are) equal, you fear them as you fear yourselves? Thus We explain the Verses for a people (who) use reason. (30:28)

Only (the) example (of) the life … flourished yesterday. Thus We explain the Signs for a people who reflect. (10:24)

And thus We explain the Signs that they (may) say, "You have studied," and that We (may) make it clear for a people who know. (6:105)

Thus we detail the revelations, that haply they may return (7:174)

It is then, up to Us, to make it all clear (75:19)

Muslims say the Quran does not contain the examples, BUT Allah says:

And verily We have explained to mankind in this Quran from every example, but refused most (of) the mankind except disbelief. (17:89)

There was certainly in their stories a lesson for those of understanding. Never was the Qur’an a narration invented, but a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of all things and guidance and mercy for a people who believe. (12:111)

Muslims say the the Quran is not complete, requiring additional sources to be associated with it, BUT Allah says:

And the word of your Lord has been fulfilled / completed in truth and in justice. None can alter His words, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing. (6:115)

And there is no creature on [or within] the earth or bird that flies with its wings except [that they are] communities like you. We have not neglected in the Book (Quran) a thing. Then unto their Lord they will be gathered. (6:38)

There was certainly in their stories a lesson for those of understanding. Never was the Qur’an a narration invented, but a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of all things and guidance and mercy for a people who believe. (12:111)

And [mention] the Day when We will resurrect among every nation a witness over them from themselves. And We will bring you, [O Muhammad], as a witness over your nation. And We have sent down to you the Book as clarification for all things and as guidance and mercy and good tidings for the Muslims. (16:89)

Muslims say the Sunnah and Hadith are completely separate concepts from the Quran, but Allah says:

---Contains Hadith---

4:87, 7:185, 12:111, 18:6, 31:6, 39:23, 45:6, 52:34, 56:81, 68:44, 77:50

And whose HADITH is more truthful than ALLAH'S? (4:87)

Then in which HADITH after this will they believe? (7:185)

This is not a fabricated HADITH, but a confirmation of what is before it, and a detailed explanation of everything, and a guide and a mercy to a people acknowledging. (12:111)

Then perhaps you are going to worry yourself to death chasing after them if they do not believe in this HADITH. (18:6)

And among the people there are those who purchase baseless HADITHS to divert from the way of God without knowledge, making mockery of it. (31:6)

Allah has sent down the best HADITH: a consistent Book wherein is reiteration... (39:23)

These are the verses of Allah which We recite to you in truth. Then in what HADITH after Allah and His verses will they believe? (45:6)

Then let them bring a HADITH like it, if they are truthful. (52:34)

Is it then this HADITH that you are ridiculing (56:81)

So leave those who deny this HADITH to Me. We will proceed against them gradually, from whence they do not know. (68:44)

In what HADITH beyond this will they believe? (77:50)

---Contains Sunnah---

4:26, 17:77, 33:38, 33:62, 35:43, 40:85, 48:23

ALLAH wishes to make His laws clear to you and to guide you towards the righteous ways of those who preceded you. He wishes to redeem you. He is all-knowing and all-wise. (4:26)

Nothing has changed. It was this SUNNAH with the messengers that We sent before you. You will find no changes in Our SUNNAHS. (17:77)

The Prophet should not have any uneasiness about that which God has ordained for him since this is ALLAH’s SUNNAH with those [prophets] who passed away before. God’s will is absolute destiny. (33:38)

This has been ALLAH’s SUNNAH with those who went before, and you will not find any change in the SUNNAH of ALLAH. (33:62)

because of their arrogance on Earth and their evil schemes. Yet evil schemes overwhelm only those who plot them. Do they expect anything different, given what happened to earlier people? You will never find any change in the SUNNAH of ALLAH, and you will never find any deviation in His SUNNAH. (35:43)

But believing after seeing Our might did not help them at all. This has been God’s SUNNAH of dealing with His worshipers, and those who denied the truth were lost, then and there. (40:85)

Such is God’s SUNNAH which is ongoing. You will never find any change in God’s SUNNAH. (48:23)

God wishes to make His laws clear to you and to guide you towards the righteous SUNNAH of those who preceded you. He wishes to redeem you. He is all-knowing and all-wise. (4:26)

Muslims say that the God/Quran is not sufficient, but Allah says:

Say, "Only (had) forbidden my Lord the shameful deeds what (is) apparent of it and what is concealed, and the sin, and the oppression without [the] right, and that you associate with Allah what not He has sent down of it any authority, and that you say about Allah what not do you know?" (7:33)

Say: Which thing is greater in testimony? Say: God is Witness between me and you. And this, the Quran, was revealed to me that I should warn you with it and whomever it reached. Truly, are you bearing witness that there are other gods with God? Say: I bear not such witness. Say: He is not but One God and I am, truly, free from partners you ascribe with Him. (6:19)

A Book has been revealed to you. Let it cause no anxiety in your heart, as you will use it to warn and remind the believers. (7:2)

Follow what has been sent down to you by your Lord, and follow no masters other than Him. How seldom do you remember! (7:3)

Is it the law of the days of ignorance that they seek to uphold? Whose law is better than God's for those who have attained certainty? (5:50)

Therefore, go on inviting them and stay the course as you have been commanded. Do not follow their whims and desires but say, "I have believed in what God has sent down of the Book, and I have been commanded to judge equitably between you. God is our Lord and your Lord. We have our deeds, and you have your deeds. Let there be no quarrel between us and you. God will bring us all together, and to Him is the ultimate return." (42:15)

Those who do not believe in the Hereafter give the angels female names, (53:27)

they have no knowledge of this. They only follow guesswork. Guesswork is no substitute at all for the Truth. (53:28)

Say, "Who among those 'partners-gods' you associated with Him guides you to the Truth?" Say, "It is God who guides to the Truth. Which is more worthy to be followed; He who guides you to the Truth, or he who cannot find the path unless he's guided? What is the matter with you? How do you judge?" (10:35)

Indeed, that is My Path—perfectly straight. So follow it and do not follow other ways, for they will lead you away from His Way. This is what He has commanded you, so that you may become righteous. (6:153)

If they are told "Follow what God has revealed," they say, "Rather We will follow what we found our fathers doing," even though their fathers did not understand anything and were not guided. (2:170)

Say, "People of the Book, do not overstep the bounds of Truth in your religious beliefs. Do not follow the whims of the people who went astray before you. They have led many others astray, and they continue to stray from the right path." (5:77)

Say, "This is my way; I invite to Allāh with insight, I and those who follow me. And exalted is Allāh; and I am not of those who associate others with Him." (12:108)

We have revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ this Book with the truth, as a confirmation of previous Scriptures and a supreme authority on them. So judge between them by what Allah has revealed, and do not follow their desires over the truth that has come to you. To each of you We have ordained a code of law and a way of life. If Allah had willed, He would have made you one community, but His Will is to test you with what He has given ˹each of˺ you. So compete with one another in doing good. To Allah you will all return, then He will inform you ˹of the truth˺ regarding your differences. (5:48)

And judge between them ˹O Prophet˺ by what Allah has revealed, and do not follow their desires. And beware, so they do not lure you away from some of what Allah has revealed to you. If they turn away ˹from Allah’s judgment˺, then know that it is Allah’s Will to repay them for some of their sins, and that many people are indeed rebellious. (5:49)

Is it the judgment of ˹pre-Islamic˺ ignorance they seek? Who could be a better judge than Allah for people of sure faith? (5:50)

When they are told, "Turn to God's revelation and the Messenger," you see the hypocrites turn away from you in disgust. (4:61)

And when Our clear messages are recited to them, those who have no hope of meeting with Us say: Bring a Qur’ån other than this or change it. Say: It is not for me to change it of my own accord. I follow naught but what is revealed to me. Indeed I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the chastisement of a grievous day. (10:15)

And if We had destroyed them with a punishment before this, they would have said, "Our Lord, if You had only sent us a messenger, we could have followed Your signs before we were humiliated and disgraced." (20:134)

SURAH AL AARAF 101 - 206

QURAN TAFSIR (QURAN AS IT EXPLAIN ITSELF)

In the Name of ALLAH, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.

7:101.   These are the towns whose news We told to you; their messengers had come to them with clear proofs, but they would not believe in what they had denied before. It is such that Allah seal over the hearts of the disbelievers..

7:102.  And We did not find most of them any covenant , rather, We found most of them defiently disobedient.

[17:70. And We have honored the Children of Adam and carried them in the land and the sea, and We have provided for them of the good things, and We have preferred them over many of those We created in a marked preference.]

7:103.  Then after them We sent Musa with Our signs to Pharaoh and his commanders. But they did wrong in them, so see how is the end of the miachief makers.

7:104.  And Musa said: "O Firaun, I am a messenger from the Rabb of the universe."

7:105.  "It is not proper for me to say about Allah except the truth; I have come to you with a proof from your Rabb. So send with me the Children of Israel."

7:106.He said: "If you have come with a sign then bring it, if you are of the truthful?"

7:107.  So Musa threw his rod, and suddenly it was a veritable serpent.

7:108.  And he drew out his hand, and it appeared luminous pure white for the beholders.

[20:17-21.  "And what is in your right hand O Musa?"

Musa  said: "It is my staff, I lean on it, and I guide my sheep with it, and I have  many other uses for it."Said: "Throw it down O Musa."So he threw it down, and it became a moving snake! Said: "Seize it and do not be fear, We will return it to its previous former state."]

7:109.  The commanders from among the people of Firaun said: "This is a knowledgeable magician!"

7:110."He want to drive you out from your land; so what is your instruct?"

7:111.They said: "Delay him and his brother, and send gatherers to the cities."

7:112. "They will come to you with every knowledgeable magician(Sihr)."

[Saahir from Sihr = Magician, liar, stunningly eloquent, smart poet, deceitful, trickster, cheater, defrauder, dodger, hoaxer, swindler]

7:113. And the magicians came to Firawn, they said: "We require a reward if we are the victors."

7:114.He said: "Yes, and you will be made close to me.

7:115.They said: "O Moses, either you throw, or we will throw?"

7:116.  He(musa) said: "You throw." So when they threw they bewitched the eyes of the people, and instilled terror in them, and they produced a great magic.

7:117.   And We inspired to Musa: "Throw down your staff;" and suddenly it swallowed what they were falsfied.

[Asaa = Staff = Cane = Strength = Conviction = Authority = Power = Strong logic = Convincing argument]

7:118.   So the truth was established, and what they were doing was falsified.

7: 119. So they were  defeated there and  Humiliated.

7:120.And the magicians went down prostrating.

7:121. They said: "We believe in the Rabb of the worlds."

7:122."The Rabb of Musa and Harun."

7:123. Firaun said: "Have you become believers before I have given you permission? This is surely some plot which you have plotted in the city to drive its people out; But soon you will  know."

7:124."I will cut off your hands and feet from alternate sides, then I will crucify you all."

[Cutting off the hands and feet on the alternate side refers to immobilizing a person, otherwise crucifixion would not be necessary.

20:71. He said: "Have you believed to him before taking my permission? He is surely your great one who has taught you magic. So, I will cut off your hands and feet from alternate sides, and I will crucify you on the trunks of the palm trees, and you will come to know which of us is more punishment and more lasting!"

26:49.  He said: "Have you believed unto him before I permitted you? He is surely your great one who has taught you magic. So you shall come to know, I will cut off your hands and feet from alternate sides, and I will crucify you all."

38:12.  Disbelieving before them were the people of Nuh, 'Aad, and  Firaun the owner of  stakes.]

7:125.They said: "Surely we are determined to turn to our Rabb ."

7:126. "Yyou are only seeking revenge on us because we believed in the signs of our Rabb when they came to us. Our Rabb, provide us with patience, and let us die as submitters (Muslimeen)."

[2:250. When they came forth to Jalut and his soldiers, they said, "Our Rabb grant us patience, and make firm our foothold, and give us victory over the disbelieving people."]

7:127. And the commanders from among the people of Firaun said: "Will you let Musa and his people corrupt the land, and abandon you and your gods?" He said: "We will kill their children and spare their women; we are in power over them."

7:128.  Musa said to his people: "Seek help from Allah, and be patient; the earth is for Allah, He will inherit it to whom He pleases of His servants; and the end will be for the righteous (against evil)."

[21:105. We have written in the Scripture: 'After the reminder, the earth will be inherited by My righteous slaves who do good.']

7:129. They said: "We were being harmed before you came to us and since you have come to us." He said: "Perhaps your Rabb will destroy your enemy, and make you successors in the earth, Then will see what kind of works you do.”?

7:130. And We afflicted the people of Firaun with years of drought, and a shortage in crops, they should have stopped to think..

7:131.  When any good came to them, they said: "This is ours," and when any bad afflicted them, they blamed it on Musa and those with him. Their blame is with Allah, but most of them do not know.

7:132. And they said: "No matter what you bring us of a sign to bewitch us with, we will never believe in you."

7:133. So We sent them the flood, and the locust, and the lice, and the frogs, and the blood; all detailed signs; but they turned arrogant, they were a criminal people.

7:134. And when the punishment befell them, they said: "O Musa, call on your Rabb for what He has pledged with you, that if you remove this punishment from us, then surely we will believe in you and surely we will send with you the Children of Israel."

7:135. So when We removed  the punishment from them for a fixed term, they broke their word.

7:136. So We took retribution from them. We drowned them in the sea, because they denied  Our Ayat, and were heedless with them.

7:137. And We made the people who were considered weak to inherit  the eastern parts of the land and the western parts thereof which We have blessed. And the good word of your Rabb was fulfilled for  the Children of Israel because of their patience. And We destroyed what Firaun and his people were doing, and what they erected.

7:138.  And We brought the Children of Israel cross the sea, then they came unto a people who were given to idols which they had. They said: "O Musa, make for us a god even as they have gods." He said: "You are an ignorant people!"

7:139. "These people are destroyed for that which they are engaged in (idols worship), and all that they are doing is in vain."

7:140. He said: "Shall I seek for you an ilah(god)  other than Allah. While he has given you superiority over the worlds?"

7:141. .And When we  saved you from the people of Firaun, they were afflicting you with the worst tormen, kill your sons and letting  your women live. And in that was a great trial from your Rabb.

[Abna = Sons = Strong ones. Nisaa = Females = Women = Weak ones.*

Yastahyoon carries the connotation of ‘letting live’ as well as ‘in shame’.

Yasoomoon = Selecting, choosing. This is what a tyrannical system does.

2:49. And  when we saved you from the people of Firaun, who were afflicting you with the worst punishment; they used to slaughter your sons, and sparing your women, and therein was a great trial from your Rabb.

27:34. She said: "When the kings enter a town they destroy it and make its most honorable among its people the lowest. And thus they do."

28:4. Firaun became mighty in the land, and he turned its people into factions; he oppressed a group of them by killing their children and letting  their women. He was of those who corrupted.

40:25.  Then, when he brought them the  truth from Us, they said: "Kill with him the sons  of those who believe with him, and sapre their women." But the plots of the rejecters is always in error.

Balaaun: Turn of events. Wa fi zalikum points to saving mentioned early in the verse]

7:142.  And We set a meeting for Musa in thirty nights, and We complemented them with ten more, so was appointed time of his Rabb was set at forty nights. And Musa said to his brother Haron: "Replace me among my people act in the right way, and do not follow the path of the corrupters."

[2:51. And We appointed a meeting time for Musa of forty nights, but then you took the calf after him while you were wrongdoers]

7:143.  So when Musa came to Our appointed place, and his Rabb spoke to him, he said: "My Rabb, let me look upon you." He said: "You will not see Me, but look upon the mountain, if it stays in its place then you will see Me." So when his Rabb revealed Himself to the mountain, He caused it to crumble; thus Musa fell down unconscious. When he recovered  his senses, he said: "Glory to You, I repent to You and I am the first of the believers."

7:144.  He said: "O Musa, I have chosen you over the people with My message and My words; so take what I have given you and be among the thankful."

7:145.  And We wrote for him on the tablets from all things a lesson, and the explanation  for all things (and said). Take it with strength and order your people to take the better therein. I shall show you the home of the defiantly disobedient.

[39:18. Those who listen to the word, and  follow the best  thereof , Those are the ones whom Allah has guided, and those are men of understanding.]

7:146.  I will turn away from My Verse ( Ayat ) those who are arrogant on the earth without right, and if they see every verse (Ayat)  they do not believe in it. And if they see the way of guidance they will not adopt it as the way; but if they see the way of error, they will adopt that way. That is because they have rejected Our Verse (Ayat) and were heedless of them.

7:147. And those who deny Our Verse ( Ayat)  and the meeting of the Hereafter, their works are fruitless. Are they requited with anything except for what they used to do?

7:148.  And the people of Musa, in his absence, made from their ornaments a sculpture of a calf that emitted a cry. Did they not see that it could not speak to them, nor guide them to the way? They took it(idol worship) and they were wrongdoers.

7:149.  And when they realized what their hands had done, and they saw that they had gone astray, they said: "If our Rabb have not mercy upon us and forgive us, Surely we will be of the losers!"

7:150.  And when Musa returned to his people, angry and grieved, he said: "Miserable is what you have done after I was gone; do you wish to hasten the action of your Rabb?" And he cast down the tablets, and took his brother by his head dragging him towards him. He said: "Son of my mother, the people overpowered me and nearly killed me, so do not make the enemies rejoice over me, and do not make me with the wrongdoers people."

[20:86. So Musa returned to his people angry and disappointed. He said: "O My people, did not your Rabb promise you a good promise? Has the waiting for the pledge been too long, or did you desire that  wrath should descend from your Rabb on you? That you broke your promise to me."

Seizing the beard and head is indicative of interrogating harshly. Aaron had been extra patient with their idolatry to avoid division among them

20:94. He said: "O son of my mother, do not seize (me) not by my beard nor by my head. I feared lest you should say:  You have caused  a division among the Children of Israel, and you are not respected my word."

Haron, the Prophet of Allah, preferred Shirk over Sectarianism.

*This is how reprehensible sectarianism and division in religion is]

7:151.  He said: "My Rabb, forgive me and my brother, and admit us in Your mercy; and you are the Most Merciful of those who show mercy."

7:152.  Those who took the calf will be dealt with a wrath from their Rabb and a humiliation in this worldly life. It is such that We recompense those who invent a lie.

7:153.  As for those who commit evil deeds and then repent afterwards and believe; your Rabb after that is oftForgiving, Most Merciful.

7:154.  And when the anger of  Musa calmed, he took the tablets; and in its inscription was  guidance and  mercy for those who fear their Rabb.

7:155.  And Musa selected from his people seventy men for Our appointed time; so when the earthquake seized them, he said: "My Rabb, if You wished You could have destroyed them before this, and me as well. Will you destroy us for what the foolish among us have done? It is all Your test, You let go astray those will go to astray and You guide those who will to be guude. You are our Protector, so forgive us and have mercy on us; You are the Best of those who Forgive."

[2:55. And you said: "O Musa, we will not believe you until we see Allah openly!" So the lightning strike took you while you were still staring.]

7:156.  "And decree for us good in this life, and in the Hereafter; we have been guided towards You." Allah said: "My punishment, I afflict with it whom I chose, and My mercy encompasses all things. I will thus decree it for those who live upright and contribute towards purification(zakat) , and those who believe in Our verses."

7:157. " Those who follow the unlettered messenger prophet, whom they find written  in the Taurat and the injeel; he commands them to do good, and prohibits them from evil and he makes lawful for them the good things, and he makes unlawful for them the evil things, and he removes their burden and the shackles that are upon them. So those who believe in him, and support him, and help him persevere, and follow the light that was sent down with him; these are the successful ones."

7:158.  Say: "O Mankind, I am a messenger of Allah  to you all. The One who has the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, there is no god except;Allah , He gives life and causes death." So believe in Allah and His messengers, the prophet unlettered the one who believes in Allah and Allah words; and follow him that you will perhaps have  guidance".

7:159.  Among the people of Musa  there are those  who  would guide in the way of  truth and act justly in its light.

7:160.  And We divided them into twelve tribes nations; and We inspired Musa when his people wanted to water: "Strike the stone with your stick," thus twelve springs burst out of it. Each people then knew from where place to water . And We shaded them with clouds and We sent down to them manna and quail: "Eat from the good things that We have provided for you." They did not wrong Us, but it was their souls that they wronged.

[2:60. And Musa was seeking water for his people, so We said: "Strike the stone with your staff." Thus twelve springs exploded out of it; each people then knew from where to drink. "Eat and drink from the provisions of Allah, and do not roam the earth as corrupters."

3:7. He is the One who sent down to you the Book, from which there are lawgiving revelations; they are the essence of the Book; and others which are of a similatude. As for those who have a disease in their hearts, they will follow that which is of a similatude, seeking to confuse, and seeking to derive an interpretation. But none know its interpretation except Allah, and those who are well founded in knowledge; they say: "We believe in it, all is from our Rabb." And none will remember except those who possess intelligence.]

7:161.  When they were told: "Reside in this city and eat  as you wish, and say: "Repentance  and enter the gate by prostrating yoiurselves (sujjadan) and  We will forgive for you your wrongdoings, and We will increase for the good doers."

7:162. Those who were wronged among them changed the word which was said to them ; so We sent upon them an torment  from the sky their wrong deeds.

[2:59.But the wronged altered what was said to them to a different saying, thus We sent down upon the wronged an affliction from the heavens for what  they were definitely disobeying in.

5:22.They said: "O Musa! In it are a people of great strength, and we shall never enter it, till they leave it; when they leave, then we will enter.

7:134.  And when the punishment befell them, they said: "O Musa, call on your Rabb for what He has pledged with you, that if you remove this punishment from us, then surely we will believe in you and surely we will send with you the Children of Israel."

8:11.when He covered you with a slumber as a security from Him, and He caused water (rain) to descend on you from the sky, to clean you thereby and to remove from you the Rijz (whispering or dirt) of Shaitan, and to strengthen your hearts, and make your feet firm thereby.

29:34.  "Indeed, we will bring down on the people of this town a great punishment from the sky, because they have been evil deeds (against Allah command."

34:5.  But those who strive against Our verse to frustrate them -- those, for them will be a severe painful torment. ]

7:163.  And ask them about the town which was by the sea, and they had violated the Sabbath; their big  fish would come to them openly on the day of their Sabbath, and when they are not in Sabbath, they do not come to them. Thus we made a trial of them, bcause of their evil deeds( against Allah command).

7:164. And when said  the community among them. "Why do you preach to a people whom Allah will destroy them  or to punish with a severe  punishment?" They said: "we preach to them for we are responsible in the sight of your Rabb and  that  they may become righteous"

7:165.  So when they forgot that which they were reminded with it, We saved those who forbade evil, and We seized who those who did wronged with a punishment because of their evil deeds( against Allah command).

7:166.  So when they exceeded the limits of what they were prohibited. We said to them: "Be despised, apes!"

7:167.And when  your Rabb declared that He would send upon them, until the Day of Resurrection, those who would inflict severe punishments on them. Your Rabb is quick in retribution and He is surely Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

7:168.  And We divided them into nations on the earth some are the righteous and  other or not. We tested them with good things and hardship so that they might return (to Allah ( the right path).

7:169.  Then, a generation came after them who inherited the Book, but they choose  the good of this low life saying: "It will be forgiven for us." And if they continue offer of the like (evil pleasure of this world)  came their way,  they would (again) seize them; was not the covenant of the Book taken on them that they would only say the truth about Allah, and they studied its contents well?  The life Hereafter is better for those the pious ones. Do you not understand?

7:170.  As for those who hold fast to the Book, and they hold the salat; We shall never waste the reward of those who do righteous deeds.

7:171.  And  when We raised(Nataqna) the mountain over them as if it had been a canopy, and they thought that it was going to fall on them.  “Hold firmly to what We have given you , and remember that which is therein , so that you may fear Allah.”

7:172.  And  when your Rabb brought forth from the Children of Adam, from their loins, their seed and made them testify as to themselves : "Am I not your Rabb" They said: "Yes! We testify ,"lest you should say on the Day of Resurrection: "We were unaware of this."

7:173.  Or lest you  say: "It was only our fathers afore time who took others as partners in worship along with Allah, and we were  descendants after them; So will You then destroy us because of the deeds of men who practiced falsehood ".

[You will not be questioned what others used to do. No one will bear the load of another.

2:134.That is a nation that has passed away; to them is what they have earned, and to you is what you have earned; and you will not be asked regarding what they did.

39:7. If you disbelieve, then  Allah is free from need of you; Allah does not want disbelief for Allah servants. And if you are grateful, Allah will accept it from you. No one will be responsible for the sin of others. Then to your Rabb is your return, and Allah will inform you what you have done.  Allah is the All-Knower of that within the breasts.]

7:174.  Thus do We explain Our Verses in detail, so that they may return (to the straight path).

7:175.  And recite to them the story of him to whom We gave Our verses, but he threw them away; so Shaitan followed him up, and he became one of those who went astray.

7:176.  And had We willed, We would surely have elevated him there with, but he clung to the earthy life and followed his own evil (vain ) desires. So his example is like that  of  the dog:  who always has its tongue  hanging out whether you chase it away or i leave it alone, .Such is the example of the people who reject Our Verses. So relate the stories,  that they may reflect.

[If it had been Our will = If he chose Our laws of humiliation. Allah revelation lightens your burdens while manmade(other books) dogmas place burdens on you.

7:157. Those who follow the unlettered messenger prophet, whom they find written  in the Taurat and the injeel; he commands them to do good, and prohibits them from evil and he makes lawful for them the good things, and he makes unlawful for them the evil things, and he removes their burden and the shackles that are upon them. So those who believe in him, and support him, and help him persevere, and follow the light that was sent down with him; these are the successful ones."]

7:177.  Evil is the example of the people who rejected Our Verses, and have done injustice only to themselves.

7:178.  Whomsoever Allah guides, he is the guided one, and whomsoever He sends astray, -- then those! They are the losers.

[4:88. Then what is the matter with you that you are divided into two parties about the hypocrites Allah has cast them back for what they have earned. Do you want to guide  those whom Allah has made to go astray?,  you  will never find a guidance for those whom Allah has made to err.]

7:179.  And surely, We have created many of the Jinn and mankind for Hell. They have hearts but do not understand, and they have eyes but do not see , and they have ears do not hear (the truth). They are like cattle, nay even more astray; Those they are the headless ones.

[Cattle are at least guided by their natural instincts. 'Ghaafiloon' = Those who let the life pass by unaware of its potentials = Neglectful = Unaware = Careless.*

67:10.  They will also say: "Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we would not have been among the dwellers of the blazing Fire! ]

7:180.  Allah has the Most Beautiful Names, so call on Him by them, and leave the company of those who practice deviation concerning Allah names. They will be recompensed for what they are used to do.

[4:171. O people of the book, do not overstep in your system, nor say about Allah except the truth. Isa the son of Mary was no more than Allah messenger and the fulfillment of His word to Maryam, and an inspiration from Him. So acknowledge Allah and His messengers, and do not say, "Trinity." Cease, for it is better for you. Ilah is only One Allah, be He glorified that He should have a son! To Him is all that is in the heavens and what is in the earth. Allah is enough as a caretaker.

17:110. Say: "Invoke Allah or invoke Ar-Rahman (the Most Gracious), by whatever name you invoke Him (it is the same), for to Him belong the Best Names. And offer your Salah (prayer)neither aloud nor in a low voice, but follow a way between.

41:40.  Those who deviate Our Ayat are not hidden from us. Is he who is cast into the Fire better or he who comes secure on the Day of Resurrection?  Do whatever you will. Allah is All-Seer of what you do.]

7:181.  And of those whom We have created, there is a nation who guides with the truth, and  thereby establishes justice.

7:182. Those who reject Our verses, We will gradually lead them with from where they do not know.

7:183. And I will encourage to them; My plan is firm.

7:184.  Do they not reflect Their companion is not  possession by Jinn in their . He is  a clear warner.

[10:16. Say: "If Allah had so willed, I would have not recited it to you , nor  would you  have known about it. I have stayed among you a lifetime before it. Will you not, then, use your sense.?]

7:185. Do they not look at the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all things that Allah has created; And that it may be that the end of their lives is near. So In which Narrative (Hadith) after this one will they  believe.

7:186.Whoever Allah lets go astray, then there is no guide for him; And Allah leaves them blindly wandering in their transgression.

[2:15. Allah mocks at them, and leaves them to continue blindly in their transgression.]

7:187. They ask you about the Hour (Day of Resurrection): "When will be its appointed time" Say: "Its knowledge is with my Rabb (Alone).* *None can reveal its time except Allah. Heavy is its burden through the heavens and the earth. It will not come to you except suddenly.” They ask you, as if you have informed of it. Say: "Its knowledge is with Allah (Alone). But most of the people do not know."

[Only Allah Can Reveal the Time of the End; Messengers Are Humans Like You]

7:188. Say: “I have no power for myself any benefit or harm, except what Allah wills. If I knew the knowledge of the Ghayb (Unseen), surely I would have increased  my good fortune, and no harm would have come to me. I am but a warner, and a bearer of glad tidings unto  people who will believe.”

7:189. It is He Who has created you from a single soul, and made from its mate,  that he might enjoy the pleasure of living with her. When he covers her, she carries a light burden and continues with it,  And when it became heavy, they both invoked Allah their Rabb (saying): "If You give us a righteous  child(salihan), surely we will be among the grateful."

7:190.  But when He gaves them a righteous child (salihan), they setup partners with Allah in that what He had granted  them. Exalted is Allah above what they partner with Him.

7:191. Do they attribute as partners to Allah those who created nothing but they themselves are created.

7:192. And they cannot help them, nor can they help themselves.

7:193. And if you call them for guidance, they do not follow you. It is the same for them whether you call them or you remain silent.

7:194. Those whom you call upon besides Allah are slaves like you. So call upon them and let them respond to you, if you are truthful.

7:195. Do they (idols) feet to walk, hands to hold,  eyes to see and ears to hear ?Say “Call upon your idols and your so called partners of Allah, and then scheme against me  and give me no respite!

7:196. My protector is Allah Who has revealed the Book (the Qur’an), and Allah protects the righteous.

7:197. And those whom you call upon besides Allah, has no power to help you, nor can they help themselves.

7:198. And if you call them to guidance, they do not hear. And you see them looking at you, yet they do not see.”

7:199. Resort to pardon, and enjoin  the good, and turn away from the ignorant.

7:200. And if an evil whisper comes to you from Shaytan, then seek refuge with Allah. Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower.

7:201. Those who are aware, when an evil thought comes to them from Shaytan, they remember , and then can see.

7:202. But their brothers they (the devils) plunge them deeper into error, and they never stop cease.

7:203.  And if you do not bring them a miracle, they say: "Why have you not brought it" Say: "I only follow what is revealed to me from my Rabb. This (the Qur'an) is an evidences from your Rabb, and a guidance and a mercy to a people who believe.”

7:204. And when the Qur'an is recited then listen to it, and pay attention that you may receive mercy.

7:205.  And remember your Rabb within yourself  humbly and fear and without the loudness in words in the mornings and in the evening, and do not be those who are neglectful.

7:206. Surely, those who are with your Rabb are never too proud to perform acts of serve Allah and  they glorify Allah and  prostrate  themselves before Allah (alone).
