CHAPTER SURAH BAQRAH 155 - 165

2:155.  And We will test you with some fear and hunger, and a shortage in money and lives and fruits. And give good news to those who are patient.

2:156. The ones who, when afflicted with adversity, they say: "We are to Allah and to Him we will return."

[9:59. And if they had only been content with what Allah and His messenger had given them, and they had said: "Allah suffices; Allah will give us from His bounty, and His messenger; it is towards Allah that we desire."]

2:157.  For those there will be contacts from their Rabb and a mercy, they are the guided ones.[33:43.He is the One who makes contact with you, along with His angels, to bring you out of darkness and into the light. And He is ever Merciful towards the believers.

33:56. Allah and His angels make contact with the prophet. O you who believe, you shall make contact with him, and comply completely.]

2:158. Indeed, the stone and the rock outcropping are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever makes Pilgrimage to the Sanctuary, or is merely visiting, commits no error should he traverse them. And whoever donates for goodness, then Allah is Thankful, Knowledgeable.

[Abraham and Ishmael worked in the region of Mount Safa and Mount Marwah in Makkah, building the Ka’bah. There is nothing wrong in honoring such historical relics

2:177.Piety is not to turn your faces towards the east and the west, but pious is one who believes in Allah and the Last Day, and the angels, and the Book, and the prophets, and who gives money out of love to the relatives, and the orphans, and the needy, and the wayfarer, and those who ask, and to free the slaves; and who upholds the contact prayer, and who contributes towards purification; and those who keep their pledges when they make a pledge, and those who are patient in the face of adversity and hardship and when in despair. These are the ones who have been truthful, and these are the righteous.

22:28. So that they may witness benefits for themselves, and mention the name of Allah in the appointed days over what He has provided for them of the animal livestock. So eat from it and feed the needy and the poor.

Allah has appointed the Ka’bahas the focal point for all humanity. And that is the real purpose behind the annual Hajj convention and, when announced by the Islamic Central Authority, the ‘Umrah conferences.

2:148. And to each is a direction that he will take, so you shall race towards good deeds. Wherever you may be, Allah will bring you all together. Allah is capable of all things.

2:196. And conclude the Pilgrimage and the visit for Allah. But, if you are prevented, then provide what offering is affordable; and do not shave your heads until the offering reaches its destination. Whoever of you is ill or has an ailment to his head, then he may redeem by fasting or giving a charity or a rite. But if you are secure, then whoever makes the visit, but decides to continue until the Pilgrimage, then he shall provide what offering is affordable; but for he who cannot find anything, then he must fast for three days during the Pilgrimage and seven when he returns; this will make a complete ten - this is for those whose family is not resident at the Restricted Temple. And be aware of Allah, and know that Allah is severe in retribution.

3:96. The first Sanctuary established for the people is the one in Bakk'a, blessed, and a guidance for the worlds*

22:27. And call out to the people with the Pilgrimage, they will come to you walking and on every transport, they will come from every deep enclosure.*

Khair = Good things = Acts of benevolence = Community welfare = Peace and security = Betterment in both lives = Selfless service.]

2:159. Surely those who conceal what We have sent down to them of the clarities and the guidance, after We Had made it clear for the people in the Book; these will be cursed by Allah and be cursed by those who curse.

[Allah has defined the objectives of the Hajj in this Book.

22:28. So that they may witness benefits for themselves, and mention the name of Allah in the appointed days over what He has provided for them of the animal livestock. So eat from it and feed the needy and the poor.*

Those who conceal the sublime purpose of these assemblies by making them senseless rituals, deprive humanity of a phenomenal blessing.

La’nah = Condemnation = Rejection = Curse = Deprivation from grace. Laa’inoon = Those endowed with the sense of distinguishing right from wrong, and thus able to condemn. Related non-Qur’anic word, 'Al-la'een' = Scare-crow repelling the birds]

2:160. Except those who repent and amend and clarify; for those I will accept their repentance, for I am the One who accepts repentance, the Merciful.

[Taubah = Repentance = Turning to God = Returning to the right path. Salah = Corrective action = Reform = Making amends]

2:161.  Surely, those who have disbelieved and then died as disbelievers; they will be cursed by Allah, and the angels, and all the people.

[Condemnation of Allah = Deprivation of His grace. Condemnation of angels = Harm incurred for violating universal laws. Condemnation of mankind = Suffering at the hands of other nations]

2:162. They will abide therein, where the retribution will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved.

2:163.  And your Allah is but One Illah, there is no god except Allah; the Almighty, the Merciful.*

[It is only His laws that are operative in the entire Universe, and any nations falling in conflict with His laws will suffer ultimate self-destruction.

1:1.In the name of Allah, the Almighty, the Merciful.

6:45. It was thus that the remainder of the wicked people were wiped out; and praise be to Allah, Rabb of the worlds.

Al-Ilah = God = The Sovereign = The One Worthy of service, obedience and worship = The Supreme Master. Ilah = Refers to the One True God = It also indicates a false god, depending upon the context]

2:164. Surely, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the differences between the night and the day, and the ships that sail in the sea for the benefit of the people, and what Allah has sent down of water from the sky so Allah brings the earth back to life after it had died, and He sent forth from it every creature, and the dispatching of the winds and the clouds that have been designated between the earth and the sky are signs for a people who comprehend.

[Einstein correctly pointed out, “The Universe is too organized to be the result of an accident.”

6:73.  And He is the One who has created the heavens and the earth with the truth, and the day He says: "Be," then it is! His saying is truth; and to Him is the sovereignty the Day the horn is blown. Knower of the unseen and the seen; He is the Wise, the Expert.

Sama = Sky = Heaven = Atmosphere = Canopy = Height.

35:27.Do you not see that Allah sends down water from the sky, thus We produce with it fruits of various colors? And of the mountains are peaks that are white, red, or some other color and intense black.]

2:165.  And from among the people are some who take other than Allah as equals to Him, they love them as they love Allah; but those who believe love Allah more strongly; and when those who were wicked see the retribution, they will see that all power belongs to Allah, and that Allah is severe in retribution.

[3:30.The Day every soul will find what good it had done present; and what bad it had done, it will wish that between them was a great distance. And Allah warns you of Himself, and Allah is Compassionate towards the servants.

7:3. Follow what was sent down to you from your Lord, and do not follow besides Him any supporters. Little do you remember!

In the Qur’an, reverence or love of Allah invariably denotes obeying His commands.

Hubb = Love = Adoring by obeying = To revere by following commands. Nidd =False god = One who tries to play Allah.

Example: Pharaoh tried to equal Allah

43:51.  And Pharaoh proclaimed among his people: "O my people, do I not possess the kingship of Egypt, and these rivers that flow below me? Do you not see?"

Andaad =Those who play god = Political tyrants = Religious leaders who issue edicts contrary to the Divine revelation. Allah being stern in punishment means His Law of Requital favoring none]

CHAPTER SURAH BAQRAH 148 - 154

2:148. And to each is a direction that he will take, so you shall race towards good deeds. Wherever you may be, God will bring you all together. God is capable of all things.

[Innallaha ‘ala kulli shayin Qadeer = Allah is Able to do all things = He is the All Powerful Appointer of His laws = He has assigned due proportion for all things and events.

2:177. Piety is not to turn your faces towards the east and the west, but pious is one who believes in Allah and the Last Day, and the angels, and the Book, and the prophets, and who gives money out of love to the relatives, and the orphans, and the needy, and the wayfarer, and those who ask, and to free the slaves; and who upholds the contact prayer, and who contributes towards purification; and those who keep their pledges when they make a pledge, and those who are patient in the face of adversity and hardship and when in despair. These are the ones who have been truthful, and these are the righteous.

57:20. Know that the worldly life is no more than play and distraction and adornments, and boasting among you, and to increase in wealth and children. It is like plants that are supplied by an abundant rain, which appear pleasing to the rejecters. But then they dry-up and turn yellow, and become useless hay. And in the Hereafter there is severe retribution, and forgiveness from Allah and acceptance. This worldly life is no more than a deceiving enjoyment.

83:19. Anddo you know what is 'Elliyeen?

102:1. Hoarding has distracted you.

Shayi = Thing = Derived meaning, event.

The real objective for you is to compete with one another in human welfare and develop your innate capacities.

Allah will bring you together under the banner of One Ideology, and ultimately gather all of you on the Day of Resurrection]

2: 149. And from wherever you go out, you shall set yourself focus on  the Scared Masjid( Masjid il haram); it is the truth from your Rabb; and Allah is not unaware of anything what you do.

2: 150. And wherever you go out, you shall set yourself focus on the Scared Masjid( Masjid il Haram). And wherever you may be you shall set yourselves towards it; that the people will have no room for debate with you, except those of them who are wicked. You shall not be concerned by them, but be concerned by Me; so that I may complete My blessings upon you and that you may be guided.*

2:151. As We have sent among you a Messsnger of your own, conveying to you recite Our revelations to you, purify you, and teach you the book and wisdom, and to teach you what you did not know.

2:152. So remember Me that I may remember you, and be thankful to Me and do not disbelieve.

[2:177.Piety is not to turn your faces towards the east and the west, but pious is one who believes in Allah and the Last Day, and the angels, and the Book, and the prophets, and who gives money out of love to the relatives, and the orphans, and the needy, and the wayfarer, and those who ask, and to free the slaves; and who upholds the contact prayer, and who contributes towards purification; and those who keep their pledges when they make a pledge, and those who are patient in the face of adversity and hardship and when in despair. These are the ones who have been truthful, and these are the righteous.

2:186. And if My servants ask you about Me, I am near answering the calls of those who call to Me. So let them respond to Me and believe in Me that they may be guided.

2:220.  In this world and the next; and they ask you regarding the orphans, say: "To fix their situation is best, and if you are to care for them, then they are your brothers." And Allah knows the corrupt from the good, and if Allah had wished He could have made things difficult. Allah is Noble, Wise.

15:49. Inform My servants that I am the Forgiver, the Merciful.

21:10. We have sent down to you a Book in which is your remembrance. Do you not comprehend?

21:23.He is not questioned about what He does, while they will be questioned.

23:70. Or do they say that there is a madness in him? No, he has come to them with the truth, but most of them are hateful of the truth.

38:24. He said: "He has wronged you by asking to combine your lamb with his lambs. And many who mix their properties take advantage of one another, except those who believe and do good works, and these are very few." And David guessed that We had tested him, so he sought forgiveness from his Rabb, and fell down kneeling, and repented.

43:44. And this is indeed a reminder for you and your people; and you will all be questioned.

Azkurni = Remember Me = Raise My Name. Azkurkum = I will remember you = I will give you eminence. Shukr = Being grateful in word and action = Sharing Divine bounties with others = Opposite of Kufr whenever Kufr denotes concealing = Returning more than receiving = Holding a benefactor in high esteem. Note that lack of Shukr or gratitude in the Qur’anic sense is Kufr, denying the Giver! Tazkiah = Growth of the ‘self’ = Self-actualization]

2:153.  O you who believe, seek help through patience and through the contact prayer, Allah is with the patient ones.

[Salaat = Following God’s commands closely*

2:3.  Those who believe in the unseen, and hold the contact prayer, and from Our provisions to them they spend.

Wa in the middle of this verse merges with Salaat as indicated by ‘Allah being with the steadfast’, without mentioning Salaat in the end]

2:154.  And do not say of those who are killed in the cause of Allah that they are dead; no, they are alive but you do not perceive.

[Death is like a prolonged state of sleep until the Resurrection Day

36:52. They will say: "Woe to us! Who has resurrected us from our resting place? This is what the Almighty had promised; and the messengers were truthful!"

However, those who lay their lives in the cause of Allah, themselves, undergo an emergent evolution, and instantly find themselves in a state of bliss of the Next Life. And they get honorable provision from their Rabb.

3:169. And do not think that those who are killed in the cause of God are dead. No, they are alive at their Lord receiving a bounty. ]

CHAPTER SURAH BAQRAH 140 - 147

2:140. "Or do you say that Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Yaqub and the tribes were Jewish or Nazarenes?" Say: "Are you more knowledgeable or is Allah?" Who is more unjust than the one who conceals a testimony with him from Allah? Allah is not unaware of what you do.

2:141 That is a nation that has passed away; to them is what they have earned, and to you is what you have earned; and you will not be asked regarding what they did.

2:142. The foolish from among the people will say: "What has turned them away from the focal point that they were on?" Say: "To Allah are the east and the west, He guides whomsoever He wishes to a straight path."

[‘They’ = Jews. Qiblah = Center of devotion = Symbol of uniform Ideology = Center for the unity of mankind = Deen = System of Life.*

*The Children of Israel have considered Jerusalem as their Center of devotion but the Jews always believed in a tribal Allah and, hence, a tribal center. But Allah is the Rabb of all humanity. He makes no distinction between Jews and Gentiles.

And the Qur’an invites all mankind to become one community.

His Final Message is not confined to a particular tribe, nation or group of people. Ka’bah, the first House of Monotheism, was erected by Abraham.

It has always been the Qiblahfor all humanity.

2:213. The people used to be one nation, then Allah sent the prophets as bearers of good news and warners, and He sent down with them the Book with the truth so that they may judge between the people in what they were disputing. But after receiving the clarity, the people disputed in it due to animosity between them. And Allah guided those who believed with His permission regarding what they disputed in of the truth. And Allah guides whoever He wishes to a straight path.

3:96. The first Sanctuary established for the people is the one in Bakk'a, blessed, and a guidance for the worlds.

4:170. O people, a messenger has come to you with the truth from your Rabb, so believe; that is better for you. And if you reject, then to Allah is what is in the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Knowledgeable, Wise.

6:91. And they did not appreciate Allah as He deserves to be appreciated, for they said: "Allah has never sent down anything to any human being." Say: "Who then has sent down the Book which Moses had come with, a light and a guidance for the people? You treat it simply as paper for display, and you conceal much; and you were taught what neither you nor your fathers knew." Say: "Allah has." Then leave them playing in their folly.

7:158. Say: "O people, I am a messenger of Allah to you all. The One who has the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, there is no Allah except He; He gives life and causes death." So believe in Allah and His Gentile messenger prophet, who believes in Allah and His words; and follow him that you may be guided.

10:19. The people were but one nation, then they differed. And had it not been for a previous command from your Rabb, the matter would have been immediately judged between them for what they differed.

12:104. And you are not asking them for any wage, it is but a reminder to the worlds.

21:107. And We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds.

22:49. Say: "O people, I am but a clear warner to you!"

34:28. And We have sent you to all people to be a bearer of good news, and as a warner; but most of the people do not know.

38:87. "It is but a reminder for the worlds."

57:25. We have sent Our messengers with clear proofs, and We sent down with them the Book and the balance, so that the people may uphold justice. And We sent down the iron, wherein there is great strength, and many benefits for the people. So that Allah would distinguish those who would support Him and His messengers in the unseen. Allah is Powerful, Noble.

114:1. Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of the people,"]

2:143.  And as such, We have made you a balanced nation so that you may be witness over the people, and that the messenger may be witness over you. And We did not make the focal point that you became on except to distinguish who follows the messenger from those who will turn on their heels. It was a great thing indeed except for those whom Allah had guided; Allah was not to waste your belief. Allah is Merciful and Compassionate over the people.

[Ummah = Community = A Community based on Divine Ideology.*

‘Middle Community’ = Equidistant to all nations.

‘Turns about on his heels’ = Goes back to his old ways = Succumbs to traditional beliefs.

2:142. The foolish from among the people will say: "What has turned them away from the focal point that they were on?" Say: "To Allah are the east and the west, He guides whomsoever He wishes to a straight path."*

4:88. What is the matter with you that you are divided into two groups over the hypocrites, while Allah has regressed them for what they have earned? Do you want to guide those whom Allah misguides? Whoever Allah causes to be misguided, you will never find for him a path.

29:25. And he said: "You have taken idols besides Allah in order to preserve some friendship among you in this worldly life. But then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will reject one another, and curse one another. Your destiny is Hell, and you will have no victors."]

2:144. We see the shifting of your face towards the heaven; We will thus set for you a focal point that will be pleasing to you: "You shall set yourself towards the Restricted Temple; and wherever you may be, you shall all set yourselves towards it." Those who have been given the Book know it is the truth from their Lord. And Allah is not unaware of what you do.

[The verse is not commanding people to turn their faces, as usually misunderstood.

See  2:177. Piety is not to turn your faces towards the east and the west, but pious is one who believes in Allah and the Last Day, and the angels, and the Book, and the prophets, and who gives money out of love to the relatives, and the orphans, and the needy, and the wayfarer, and those who ask, and to free the slaves; and who upholds the contact salat and who contributes towards purification(zakat); and those who keep their pledges when they make a pledge, and those who are patient in the face of adversity and hardship and when in despair. These are the ones who have been truthful, and these are the righteous.

Wajh = Face = Countenance = Whole being = Purpose.

Qiblah = Direction = Center of devotion = Masjid of Security = Source of peace and security for all humanity = The Symbol of a uniform Ideology = Symbol of pure Monotheism = Source of the unity of mankind.

Ka’bah has been the Center of devotion for all humanity ever since it was erected by Prophets Abraham and Ishmael.

2:142.The foolish from among the people will say: "What has turned them away from the focal point that they were on?" Say: "To Allah are the east and the west, He guides whomsoever He wishes to a straight path."

And Allah guides whoever He wishes to a straight path.*

3:96.The first Sanctuary established for the people is the one in Bakk'a, blessed, and a guidance for the worlds.

10:19.The people were but one nation, then they differed. And had it not been for a previous command from your Rabb, the matter would have been immediately judged between them for what they differed.

12:104. And you are not asking them for any wage, it is but a reminder to the worlds.

21:107. And We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds.

22:49.Say: "O people, I am but a clear warner to you!"

34:28.And We have sent you to all people to be a bearer of good news, and as a warner; but most of the people do not know.

38:87. And We did not create the heaven and the earth, and everything between them, in vain. Such is the thinking of those who rejected. Therefore, woe to those who have rejected from the Fire.

114:1. Say: "I seek refuge with the Rabb of the people,"]

2:145. And if you come to those who have been given the Book with every sign they will not follow your focal point, nor will you follow their focal point, nor will some of them even follow each others focal point. And if you were to follow their desires after the knowledge that has come to you, then you would be one of the wicked.

[Qiblah = Direction = Focal Point = It is the tangible but symbolic structure for unity of mankind. People honor the temples of their choice. They will recognize the Ka’bahas their own Qiblah when evolution of human civilization brings them to the right conclusion.

2:158. Indeed, the stone and the rock outcropping are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever makes Pilgrimage to the Sanctuary, or is merely visiting, commits no error should he traverse them. And whoever donates for goodness, then Allah is Thankful, Knowledgeable.

3:97. In it are clear signs: the station of Abraham. And whoever enters it will be secure. And Allah is owed from the people to make Pilgrimage to the Sanctuary, whoever can make a path to it. And whoever rejects, then Allah has no need of the worlds.

4:170.O people, a messenger has come to you with the truth from your Rabb, so believe; that is better for you. And if you reject, then to Allah is what is in the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Knowledgeable, Wise.

6:84. And We granted him Isaac and Jacob, both of whom We guided; and Noah We guided from before; and from his progeny is Dawud, and Sulaiman, and Job, and yousuf, and Musa, and Haron. It is such that We recompense the good doers.

22:23.  Allah will admit those who believe and do good works to estates with rivers flowing beneath them, wherein they will be adorned with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments will be of silk.

Zaalimeen = Oppressors = Those who hurt themselves or others = Those who choose to do wrong = Who displace something from its rightful place = Who relegate the truth = Violators of human rights = Misdirected = Those who prefer to live in the darkness of ignorance = Commonly translated as wrongdoers]

2:146. Those to whom We have given the Book know it as they know their own children; and a group of them hides the truth while they know.

2:147 The truth is from your Lord, so do not be one of those who doubt.

*QURANIC REQUIREMENTS FOR MARRIAGE

A number of requirements are mentioned in the Quran for marriage, they are:

*1- The couple must both be at the age of marriage.*

*2- Believers may not marry disbelievers or mushrikeen.*

*3- The couple must make a genuine commitment to one another.*

*4- The marriage must be declared.*

*5- The marriage must be contracted.*

*6- The marriage must be intended as a permanent bond.*

*7- The man must pay a dowry to his bride.*

FIRST: 1️⃣

*The age of marriage*

*You shall test the* *orphans when they reach the age of marriage. Then if you sense in them sound judgement, you shall hand over to them their money. Do not consume it wastefully or quickly before they have grown up. Those who are rich shall not charge any wage, and whoever is poor can charge equitably. When you hand over to them their money, have witnesses in their presence. God suffices as Reckoner.*

4:6

*This Quranic verse clearly speaks of an age of marriage and links it to being “sound judgement”.*

*The key Arabic word “balaghu”, which means reaching puberty, is quite significant. Reaching puberty alone is not sufficient to be at an age of marriage. We must also incorporate the added significance of the words “then if you sense in them sound judgement”.*

*Naturally, not all minors will reach puberty and attain a certain degree of maturity at the same age, hence why Allah did not set a fixed age but left it to the parents and guardians.*

SECOND: 2️⃣

*Believers may not marry disbelievers or mushrikeen.*

*Do not marry the mushrikaat (women who commit shirk) until they believe. A believing slave woman is better than a mushrikah even if you like her. And do not marry the mushrikeen (men who commit shirk) until they believe. A believing slave man is better than a mushrik even if you like him.*

2:221

*It goes without saying that the believers are not to marry atheists and disbelievers.*

THIRD: 3️⃣

 *Genuine commitment between the couple*

*How could you take it back when you have been so close to one another, and after they had taken from you a strict covenant?*

4:21

*The words “strict covenant” indicate that when a couple marry they should make a genuine commitment to one another.*

*The words “strict covenant” indicate that when a couple marry they should make a genuine commitment to one another.*

FOURTH: 4️⃣

*Marriage to be declared*

*There is no blame upon you if you announce your engagement to the women, or you keep it to yourself. Allah knows that you will think about them, but do not meet them secretly, unless it is for saying righteous words. Do not execute the marriage contract until the interm is fulfilled. And know that Allah knows your innermost thoughts, so beware of Him, and know that Allah is Forgiver, Forbearing.*

 2:235

*The words in 2:235 allow the engagement to be announced or kept secret, but that the marriage should not be kept secret “do not meet them secretly” but should be declared.*

FIFTH: 5️⃣

*Marriage should be contracted*

*There is no blame upon you if you announce your engagement to the women, or you keep it to yourself. Allah knows that you will think about them, but do not meet them secretly, unless it is for saying righteous words. Do not execute the marriage contract until the interm is fulfilled. And know that Allah knows your innermost thoughts, so beware of Him, and know that Allah is Forgiver, Forbearing.*

 2:235

*The words “contract the marriage” confirm that a marriage contract must be drawn rather than for couples agreeing to marry by mere verbal arrangements.*

SIXTH: 6️⃣

*Permanent bond*

*For a marriage to be lawful in the sight of Allah it must have the intention of being a permanent bond between man and woman. Any temporary kind of marriage is not lawful in the sight of Allah. Allah placed a number of conditions which must be met before a divorce can be contracted. These conditions rule out the option of having temporary marriages, and confirms that Allah regards marriage as a long lasting relationship and not a temporary arrangement. These conditions are:*

*1- The couple must wait 4 months (cooling period) before committing to divorce* (2:226).

*2- The couple must seek a council from the 2 families and genuinely attempt to reconcile* (4:35).

*3- The wife should not be evicted from the marriage home unless she commits gross immorality* (65:1).

*4- The man must pay the divorced wife a divorce compensation* (2:241).

*5- If there are children, the man must pay children’s alimony* (2:233).

*6- In addition to children’s alimony, if the man divorces a wife who is nursing his child, he must pay for her food and clothes for two years.* (2:233).

SEVENTH: 7️⃣

*Payment of the dowry*

*And also married women, except what your right hand possesses. This is Allah’s decree that is binding over you. Beyond those, all others are permitted for you, so long as you employ your money for marriage purposes and not for illicit sex. Those among them who are pleasing to you, you shall pay them their decreed dowries. There is no blame upon you for what you mutually agree to after the obligation. Allah is Knowledgeable, Wise.*

 4:24

*There is no fixed amount for the dowry in the Quran.

The Qur'an doesn't have any temporal punishment

(PUNISHMENT OF THE GRAVE / AZAB-E-QABR)*

➖22:17, 6:107-8, 22:67-69, 17:84, 49:11, 4:4

CHAPTER SURAH BAQRAH 134 - 139

2: 134. That is a nation that has passed away; to them is what they have earned, and to you is what you have earned; and you will not be asked regarding what they did.

[The dogmas of the “Chosen People”, “Original Sin” and “Blood Atonement” were invented by the followers of these Prophets.

But the Divine law stresses individual responsibility.

Every person is accountable only for one’s own actions.

6:164. Say: "Shall I seek other than God as a Rabb when He is the Rabb of everything?" And every soul earns what is for it, and none will carry the burden of another. Then to your Rabb is your return and He will inform you of what you disputed in.

39:7. If you reject, then know that Allah is in no need of you, and He is displeased with rejection for His servants. And if you are thankful, He is pleased with it for you. And none shall carry the burdens of another. Then to your Rabb is your return, and He will inform you of everything you had done. He is fully aware of what is in the chests.

53:38- 39. None can carry the burdens of another.

Every human being shall be responsible for his own works and compensated for his labor.]

2:135. And they said: "Be Jewish or Nazarenes so that you may be guided!" Say: "No, rather the creed of Abraham, monotheism; for he was not of the polytheists."

[And he was neither a Jew nor a Christian.

3:67. ABRAHAM was NEITHER a JEW NOR a CHRISTAIN, but he was an upright man who had SURRENDERED to ALLAH. He never ascribed divinity to anyone beside the One True Allah.*

Mushrik = Idolater = Pagan = Anyone who ascribes divinity to other than the One True Allah = Who associates partners with Him = Who prefers manmade tenets = Who worships idols in any form such as statues, own desires, forces in Nature, any of Allah creation = One who uncritically follows what others do = A blind follower = One who considers men as authorities instead of the Divine revelation = Anyone who makes lists of Halaal permissible and Haraam forbidden from outside the Qur’an = One who believes in clergy against the Divine revelation = Who adores saints, political or religious leaders = Who bows or prostrates physically or mentally before a creation = Who promotes books, dogmas and tenets contrary to the Qur’an. Shirk = The act of being a Mushrik]

2:136. Say: "We believe in Allah and in what was sent down to us and what was sent down to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Yaqub, and the Patriarchs, and what was given to Musa and Isa, and what was given to the prophets from their Rabb; we do not make a distinction between any of them and to Him we submit."

[ 2:79.So woe to THOSE WHO WRITE the BOOK WITH THEIR HANDA then say: "THIS IS FROM ALLAH," so that they can purchase with it a cheap price! Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they gained.

2:101.And when a messenger came to them from Allah, authenticating what was with them, a group of those who had already received the Book placed the Book of Allah behind their backs as if they did not know.

3:78. And from among them is a GROUP WHO TWIST THEIR TONGUES with the Book so that you may think it is from the Book, while it is not from the BOOK, and THEY SAY IT IS FROM ALLAH WHILS IT IS NOT FROM ALLAH, and THEY SAY ABOUT Allah LIES while they know.

3:187. And Allah took the covenant of those who were given the Book: "You will make it clear to the people and not conceal it." But they placed it behind their backs and purchased with it a cheap price. Miserable indeed is what they have purchased.

5:48. And We have sent down to you the Book with the truth, authenticating what is between your hands of the Book and superseding it. So judge between them by what Allah has sent down, and do not follow their desires from what has come to you of the truth. For each of you We have made laws, and a structure; and if Allah had willed, He would have made you all one nation, but HE TESTS YOU with WHAT HE HAS GIVEN YOU; so strive to do good. To Allah you will return all of you, and He will inform you regarding that in which you dispute.

Asbaat = The Prophets raised among the twelve Israelite Tribes, frequently called the Patriarchs. ‘No distinction’ = All of them were commissioned by Allah and they were one in purpose, although their times and places varied. They were given the message emphasizing the social needs of their respective nations. Humanity is now able to receive the Final revelation that embraces all truth and sorts out the human touch in the previous scriptures.

2:75.Did you expect that they would believe with you, when a group of them had heard the words of Allah then altered them knowingly after having understood?

2:78,.And among them are Gentiles who do not know the Book except by hearsay, and they only conjecture.

2:101. And when a messenger came to them from Allah, authenticating what was with them, a group of those who had already received the Book placed the Book of Allah behind their backs as if they did not know.

3:70. "O people of the Book, why do you reject the revelations of God while you are bearing witness?"

3:78,.And from among them is a group who twist their tongues with the Book so that you may think it is from the Book, while it is not from the Book, and they say it is from Allah while it is not from Allah, and they say about Allah lies while they know.

3:186. We will test you in your wealth and in yourselves, and you will hear from those who have been given the Book from before you and from the polytheists much annoyance. And if you are patient and righteous, then that is from a strength of conviction.

5:13. But because of them breaking their covenant, We have cursed them, and made their hearts become hardened; they take the words out of context; and they forgot much of what they were reminded of. And you will still discover betrayal in them except for a few; so pardon them and overlook; Allah loves the good doers.

5:41. O messenger, do not be saddened by those who increase in disbelief from among those who said: "We believe" with their mouths while their hearts did not believe. And from among those who are Jewish, there are those who listened to lies; they listened to people who never came to you; they distort the words from their context, and they say: "If you are given this, then take it, but if you are given anything different, then beware!" And whoever Allah wants to test, then you will not possess anything for him against Allah. These are the ONES WHOSE HEARTS ALLAH DID NOT WANT TO CLEANSE; in this world they will have humiliation, and in the Hereafter they will have a great retribution.

6:91.And they did not appreciate Allah as He deserves to be appreciated, for they said: "Allah has never sent down anything to any human being." Say: "Who then has sent down the Book which Musa had come with, a light and a guidance for the people? You treat it simply as paper for display, and you conceal much; and you were taught what neither you nor your fathers knew." Say: "Allah has." Then leave them playing in their folly.

9:31. They have setup their relogious Leaders and scholars as Rabb and Monks to be patrons besides Allah, and the Messiah, son of Mariyam while they were only commanded to serve One Allah, there is no god except He, be He glorified against what they set up.

'No distinction' also indicates that we do not deny some and accept some of the Prophets named in the Qur’an. A misconception recently trying to hold grounds should probably be addressed here: It is Allah alone Who is Impeccable and there is none like unto Him. And no two human beings are identical in every respect. The Apostles of Allah were made to excel one another concerning their specific duties relevant to the times and places of their advent.

"We have caused some of them to excel others."

2:253. Such messengers, We have preferred some over others; some of them talked to Allah, and He raised some of them in rank, and We gave Isa, son of Mariyum, the clear proofs and We supported him with the Holy Spirit. And had Allah wished, the people after them would not have fought after the proofs had come to them, but they disputed, some of them believed and some of them rejected. If Allah had wished they would not have fought, but Allah does what He pleases.

"But, We caused some Prophets to excel the others."

*17:55. And your Rabb is best Aware of all beings who are in the highs and the lows. We caused some Prophets to excel the others. To Dawud We gave a Book of wisdom1*

*However, they were all one in purpose, so we make no distinction among them on that account, and we do not accept some and deny some of them]

2: 137. So, if they believe exactly as you have believed, then they are guided; but if they turn away, then they are in opposition and Allah will suffice you against them, and He is the Hearer, the Knower.

2:138 Such is the coloring (Deen e islam) of Allah, and who is better than Allah in coloring? And to Him we are in service.

[Color (deen e islam) of Allah = We take our hue from Allah.

Nearest to Allah are those who have adopted His Sibghah = Hue or Color = His attributes in the human capacity.

83:28. A spring from which those who are brought near(to Allah)  will drink.

That means adopting the Divine Attributes in our limited human capacity such as: kindness – empathy - creativity – mercy - forgiveness – turning to people in love and affection – attaining wisdom - kindness - effort - concealment of sins - justice - bounteousness - generosity - greatness - love - glory - dignity - insight - and all other goodness and beauty are attributes of Allah.

Knowledge learning – compassion – clemency – taking care - peacefulness – remaining aware – sense of duty - determination – honesty – protecting others – generosity – unity - self-control – leniency - approachability - appreciation – moral strength – patience - showing light – guiding - independence – truthfulness – maintenance of people and things – keeping pledges – resolve – benefiting others – beautiful designing – providing – listening – observing – being worthy of trust – nobility of character – giving – and sense of responsibility. Interestingly, people can make a self-assessment by this spectrum as to where they stand on the ascending ladder of Tazkiah self-actualization or personal development]

2: 139. Say: "Do you debate with us regarding Allah? He is our Rabb and your Rabb, and we have our works and you have your works, and to Him we are believers."

[The criterion of honor in the Sight of Allah is character, and not race, color, nationality, religion or genealogy.

Some people think that Allah is only interested in the Children of Israel when He is the Rabb of all humanity.

And some think that Allah begot a son and sacrificed him to forgive their sins. But it is the Law of Requital that is operative in the entire Universe.

So, there is no such thing as “Original Sin”. Every human being is born with a clean slate and is accountable only for one’s own doings.

1:1.In the name of God, the Almighty, the most Merciful.

2:111. And they said: "None shall enter the Paradise except those who are Jewish or Nazarenes;" this is what they wish! Say: "Bring forth your proof if you are truthful."

2:123. And beware of a Day when no soul can avail another soul, nor will any amendment be accepted from it, nor will any intercession help it; they will not be supported.

2:135. And they said: "Be Jewish or Nazarenes so that you may be guided!" Say: "No, rather the creed of Abraham, monotheism; for he was not of the polytheists."

2:211.  Ask the Children of Israel how many clear signs did We give them? And whoever changes the grace of Allah after it has come to him, then Allah is Mighty in retribution.

17:70.  And We have honored the Children of Adam and carried them in the land and the sea, and We have provided for them of the good things, and We have preferred them over many of those We created in a marked preference.

49:13.  O people, We created you from a male and female, and We made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Surely, the most honorable among you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous. Allah is Knowledgeable, Expert.

53:38.None can carry the burdens of another.

114:1. Say: "I seek refuge with the Rabb of the people,"]

THE HISTORY OF HADITH

(WHY AND WHEN IT WAS WRITTEN)

*PROPHET MUHMMAD FORBIDS the WRITING of HIS HADITH*

*It has been documented in the collections of 'Muslim', 'Ahmed' and other sources of hadith that prophet Muhammad has prohibited the writing of his hadith. All the hadith collections we have today, which are regarded by the hadith scholars as authentic (sahih), were written two centuries after the death of the prophet. For two centuries, in accordance to the instructions left by the prophet, there was no authorised documentation of the hadith. Out of the sahih collections we have today, the first to be written was that of Bukhari who was born in the year 194 after Hijra (870 AD). The authors of the other six hadith collections, like Muslim and Abu Dawood, were all born after Bukhari. For more info about the exact dates of birth of all the six authors of the hadith collections please see: Six major hadith collections*

*The Quran speaks of the fabrication of hadith, something which will be done by the enemies of every prophet:*

*And thus, We have made for every prophet enemies from among the human and jinn devils. They inspire to one another fancy sayings in order to deceive. Had your Lord willed, they would not have done it. You shall disregard them and what they fabricate. 6:112*

*The Quran also confirms that it is in accordance with God's will that the fabrication of the hadith was allowed to happen. This was to serve as criteria for distinguishing the hypocrites from the true believers. Those who uphold hadith are proven to be false believers. The true believers are satisfied with God alone. They are satisfied with God's Word alone and with God's Law (Quran) alone. They believe God when He states that the Quran is complete and fully detailed, and therefore they do not need any other source:*

*Shall I seek other than God as a lawmaker when it is He who has brought down to you the Book fully detailed? Those to whom We gave the Scripture know that it was brought down from your Lord with truth, so do not be among the doubters.*

*The Word of your Lord has been completed, in truth and justice. None can change His words. He is the Hearer, the Knowledgeable. 6:114-115*

*They obey God's command to uphold no hadith other than the Quran:*

*These are God's revelations that We recite to you with truth, so in which hadith other than God and His revelations do they believe? 45:6*

*On the other hand, false believers are not satisfied with the Quran being the only source of law, thus they seek other sources:*

*This is to let the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter listen to it, accept it, and thus commit what they are committing. 6:113*

*The books of hadith report the prophet prohibiting the writing of his hadith and that his followers should not write anything from him other than the Quran! It is also documented that the prophet maintained his stand until death. Shown below are a number of such hadith:*

*(1) Ibn Saeed Al-Khudry reported that the messenger of God had said,*

*"Do not write anything from me except Quran. Anyone who wrote anything other than the Quran shall erase it." [Ahmed, Vol. 1, Page 171, and Sahih Muslim, Zuhd, Book 42, Number 7147]*

*Some hadith scholars tried to imply that prophet Muhammed changed his view about writing the hadith. However, the following hadith, which was reported 30 years after the death of the prophet, confirms that prophet Muhammed never authorised the writing of the hadith after he instructed his followers not to write anything other than the Quran.*

*(2) From Ibn Hanbal;*

*Zayd Ibn Thabit (The prophet's closest revelation writer) visited the Khalifa Mu'aawiyah (more than 30 years after the prophet's death), and told him a story about the prophet. Mu'aawiyah liked the story and ordered someone to write it down. But Zayd said. " the messenger of God ordered us never to write anything of his hadith".*

*(3) The famous book, "Ulum Al-Hadith" by Ibn Al-Salah, reports a hadith by Abu Hurayra in which Abu Hurayra said the messenger of God came out to us while we were writing his hadiths and said; "What are you writing?" We said, "hadiths that we hear from you, messenger of God." He said, "A book other than the book of God?" We said, "Should we talk about you?" He said, Talk about me, that would be fine, but those who will lie will go to Hell. Abu Hurayra said, we collected what we wrote of hadiths and burned them in fire.*

*(4) In the famous book, "Taq-yeed Al-Ilm", Abu Hurayra said, the messenger of God was informed that some people are writing his hadiths. He took to the pulpit of the mosque and said, "What are these books that I heard you wrote? I am just a human being. Anyone who has any of these writings should bring it here. Abu Hurayra said we collected all these and burned them in fire.*

*(5) Ibn Hanbal in his Musnad book, narrates a hadith in which Abdullah Ibn Omar said, "the messenger of God one day came out to us as if he was going to depart us soon and said, "When I depart you (die), hold to the book of God, prohibit what it prohibits and accept as halal what it makes halal."*

*(6) Again, in the book "Taq-yeed Al-Ilm", Abu Saeed Al-Khudry said, " I asked the messenger of God a permission to write his hadiths, but he refused to give me a permission."*

*(7) The farewell pilgrimage of prophet Muhammed is a corner stone in the Muslim history. The final sermon given by the prophet during this pilgrimage was witnessed by thousands of Muslims. There are however three versions of this sermon in the hadith books. This by itself reflects the degree of inconsistency of the hadith books as this is the most witnessed speech of prophet Muhammed.*

*1- First version, " I left for you what if you hold on to, you will never be misguided, the book of God and my family. Muslim 44/4, Nu2408; Ibn Hanbal 4/366; darimi 23/1, nu 3319.*

*This is the VERSION UPHELD by the SHIA MUSLIMS.*

*2-Second version, "I left for you what if you hold on to, you will never be misguided, the book of God and my sunnah" . Muwatta, 46/3*

*This is the VERSION UPHELD by the SUNNI MUSLIMS.*

*3- Third version, "I left for you what if you hold on to, you will never be misguided, the book of God." Muslim 15/19, nu 1218; Ibn Majah 25/84, Abu dawud 11/56.*

*This last version is the version hated by the Sunni and Shia Muslims alike. This is the only version which conforms with the repeated assertion in the Quran that Muhammed's message was only the Quran. Many Sunni Muslims and Shia Muslims do not even know that the last version of the sermon exists. In reality, they do not want to know, the truth hurts.*

*HISTORY OF THE DOCUMENTATION OF HADITH*

*The writing and documentation of the hadith is an interesting and important part of Islamic history.*

*God repeatedly confirms in the Quran that the Book is complete, perfect and fully detailed (6:19,38,114,115; 50:45, 12:111), and if there was a need, He would have given us hundreds of books, not just one Quran (see18:109 and 31:27).*

*Hadith and the 'Khalifas Al-Rashideen' (guided khalifas)*

*The four guided khalifas who ruled the Muslim Umma (nation) after the death of prophet Muhammed, respected the command of the prophet and prohibited the writing and collection of hadith. They accepted that the Quran is fully detailed and that it is the only source of religion (6:114).*

*Abu Bakr at one point was not sure whether to keep what he knows of hadith or not. He had collected 500 hadiths during very long companionship of prophet Muhammed, but he could not sleep the night until he burned them. Omar Ibn Al-Khattab insisted on destroying the hadith collected by his son Abdullah. Islamic history mentions the story of Omar Ibn Al-Khattab restraining four of the prophet's companions because of their insistence on telling hadith, these were Ibn Masoud, Abu Al-Dardaa, Abu Masoud Al-Anssary and Abu Tharr Al-Ghaffary. Omar called Abu Hurayra a liar and threatened to send him back to Yemen where he came from if he does not stop telling these lies about prophet Muhammed. He stopped until Omar died then started again.*

*Omar is also reported to have stated that he had desired to write down a collection of the prophet's sayings, but refrained for fear of the Muslims choosing to abandon the teachings of the Quran in favour of the hadith.*

*"I wanted to write the Sun'an, and I remembered a people who were before you, they wrote other books to follow and abandoned the book of God. And I will never, I swear, replace God's book with anything" Jami' Al-Bayan 1/67*

*Ali Ibn Abu Talib, the fourth khalifa in one of his speeches said, "I urge all those who have writings taken from the messenger of God to go home and erase it. The people before you were annihilated because they followed the hadith of their scholars and left the book of their Lord." (Sunan Al-Daramy)*

*Khalifa Omar Ibn Abdul Aziz, the beginning of the corruption*

*Abu Hurayra narrated more hadith than anybody else including Abu Bakr, Omar, Ali, and Aysha who lived with the prophet all their lives. In less than two years of being with the prophet, Abu Hurayra narrated more hadith than all these companions of the prophet put together. He narrated 5374 hadith. Ibn Hanbal quoted 3848 of his hadith in his book. The guided khalifas who ruled the Muslim Umma after the death of prophet Muhammed respected the prophet's wish for not writing anything but the Quran and denounced any attempt of writing the hadith and sunna. Their example was followed for the first two centuries after the prophet's death. By that time, the lies about prophet Muhammed were widespread and the people deserted the Quran to look for hadith, that is when the khalifa Omar Ibn Abdel-Aziz issued an order to permit the writing of hadith and sunna thinking that the genuine hadith would be recorded and that this would put an end to the lies about prophet Muhammed. In his ruling he disregarded the commandments of God in the Quran and the instructions left by prophet Muhammed, as well as the examples of his predecessors and the objection of many of the scholars in his time. Since then Islam moved from the religion of God, the Quran, to the infamous hadith and sunna that were originally prohibited by God and His prophet.*

*THE EARLY WRITING OF THE HADITH*

*It is historically true that hadith were written as early as the prophet's time, but the prophet and those who ruled after him condemned these writings, destroyed them and looked at those who wrote these hadith with disgrace. The hadith books mentioned that prophet Muhammed burned the collected hadith, and was very angry at people making "another book with the book of Allah." Abu Bakr and Omar Ibn Al-Khattab, were also reported to burn the hadith collections.*

*The prohibition of hadith was continued until Omar Ibn Abdel-Aziz permitted the writing of the hadith, then many books and notebooks appeared containing hadith, e.g. Ibn Greeg, Malik Ibn Anas, Mohammed Ibn Is'haq. The most famous from among these were the book of Malik Ibn Anas, (Al-Muwattaa) which had about 500 hadith. At the end of the second century, the books known as 'Masaned' appeared, e.g. the Masnad of Ahmed Ibn Hanbal that has about 40,000 hadith. In the first half of the third century, the famous six books of hadith appeared. These are the books used by the scholars today. 1- Sahih Bukhari. 2- Sahih Muslem. 3- Sunan Abu Daoud. 4-Sunan Al-Termezhy. 5-Sunan Al-Nesaay. 6- Sunan Ibn Mageh.*

*In these books, a new religion was written that dominated over the Quran despite the claim for the opposite. In writing these books, the authors did not care if the hadith contradicted the Quran or the other hadith or even common sense. In reality they fulfilled the promise of God in 6:112-113*

*And thus, We have made for every prophet enemies from among the human and jinn devils. They inspire to one another fancy sayings in order to deceive. Had your Lord willed, they would not have done it.* *You shall disregard them and what they fabricate.*

*This is to let the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter listen to it, accept it, and thus commit what they are committing.6:112-113*

*How many hadith?*

*The number of hadith collected and attributed to prophet Muhammed is in the hundreds of thousands, as much as 700,000. The majority of these hadith are pure lies and fabrications and were rejected by the early Muslim scholars who thought they can figure out which hadith is authentic and which is not. Let us look at some of the famous hadith collectors and what they collected.*

*(1) Malik Ibn Anas collected about 500 hadith in his famous book, Al-Muwattaa.*

*(2) Ahmed Ibn Hanbal, collected about 40,000 hadith, in his famous Musnad. He chose these 40,000 hadith from among 700,000 hadith. In other words he thought 660,000 hadith were un-proven, lies and/or fabrications and the others may be authentic. That is, 94% were lies and fabrications.*

*(3) Bukhari collected about 600,000 hadith. He accepted 7275 hadith and considered 592,725 hadith to be un-proven hadith, lies and/or fabrications. In other words, 99% of what he collected were considered unauthentic.*

*(4) Muslem collected 300,000 hadith. He accepted 4000 of them and rejected 296,000, that is, almost 99% were rejected.*

*This gives us an idea of how much corruption entered or tried to enter Islam from the back door.*

*ABU HURAIRAH AND  SO MANY LIES*

*Abu Hurayra came from Yemen in the seventh year of Hijra and converted to Islam. He stayed in the company of prophet Muhammed less than two years. He narrated more than 5000 hadith, 5374 to be exact, all from less than two years company. Compare this with the relatively few hadith narrated by Aysha, Abu Bakr, or Omar, for example, after very long company of the prophet. Most of his narrated hadith are called the "ahad" hadiths which are the hadith which were witnessed by only one person. In this case, Abu Hurayra. Some of the prophet's companions (sahaba) and Aysha, the prophet's wife, accused him of being a liar, telling lies about the prophet just to make up hadith and gain some status. Omar Ibn Al-Khattab, the second guided khalifa threatened Abu Hurayra to send him to exile if he does not stop telling hadith about Muhammed. He did stop until Omar's assassination then he started again. He kept telling hadith to please the khalifa of the Muslims then, including the time he lived in the royal palace of Mu'aawiyah in Syria. Abu Hurayra told his audience that he is telling them hadith that if he ever mentioned when Omar was alive, he would be given several lashes.*

*Abu Jaafar Al Iskafy mentioned that the khalifa, Mu'aawiyah, chose some of the people, including Abu Hurayra to tell fabricated stories and hadith about Ali Ibn Abu Talib, the prophet's cousin, to degrade him. Abu Hurayra lived in Mu'aawiyah's royal palace then and served him including serving his political views. He produced some of the hadith that demean and insult Ali Ibn Abu Talib, and portray him in a lower grade to Abu Bakr, Omar and Othman, only for the pleasure of Mu'aawiyah.*

*During Mu'aawiyah's rule, many hadith, with the help of Abu Hurayra, were invented that support the view that the imam or khalifa, should be obeyed just like God or the messenger, contradicting the rule of the Quran that all the matters should be decided through democratic consultation (not to forget that Abu Hurayra was living in the khalifa's Royal Palace at the time.)*

*Many of the hadith that were narrated by Abu Hurayra contradict other hadith, including his own narrated hadith and other people's hadith and contradict the Quran and contradict common sense.*

*Abu Hurayra narrated hadith after Kaab Al Ahbar, who was a Jewish convert who tried to explain the Quran by using the corrupted books of the Jews. He produced some of the most outrageous hadith that are full of contradictions to the Quran, taken from false stories in the Torah.*

*The Islamic historians told the story of Abu Hurayra after being given the governorship of Bahrain, he got very rich in two years, so Omar called him back and told him, "You, the enemy of Allah, you stole the money of Allah. I made you the Emir of Bahrain when you did not even have a pair of shoes, Where did you get all this money (400,000 Dirham)? it is said that Omar took 10,000 Dirham from him (Abu Hurayra admitted for only 20,000 Dirham).*

*Abu Hurayra was the one accused most of spreading fabricated hadith. Aysha, the prophet's wife always accused him of telling inaccurate or incomplete stories and of fabricating hadith that she never heard the prophet say. He was also known to have prejudice against women and dogs. He produced some of the most insulting hadith against Muslim women, and hadith that call for the killing of dogs.*

Aysha and Abu Hurayra at odds

*In the famous book "Taa'oueel Mukhtalaf Alhadith " by Ibn Qutaiba Al-Dinory, the story of Aysha (the prophet's wife) telling Abu Hurayra: "You tell hadith about prophet Muhammed that we never heard him say." He answered (as Bukhary reported); "You (Aysha) were busy with your mirror and make-up." She (Aysha) answered him; "It is you who were busy with your stomach and hunger. Your hunger kept you busy, you were running after the people in the allies, begging them for food, and they used to avoid you and get away from your way, and finally you would come back and pass out in front of my room and the people think you were crazy and step all over you."*

*Bukhari's 'sahih': example of corruption*

*Many Muslims talk about hadith with a respect that matches and sometimes exceeds that of the Quran! While the Quran does not leave any doubt as to where God wants believers to look for guidance and perfect happiness, those who do not believe God in His own words usually find in the hadith a refuge that has been condemned by the Quran repeatedly. God describes the Quran as the "best hadith" (39:23), and that we should not believe any hadith other than the Quran (45:6 and 7:185).*

*Bukhari is just one of several scholars who decided to collect the hadith despite the clear instructions left by prophet Muhammed and all the khalifas who followed him.*

*While current Christianity is largely the product of Paul's corruption and fabrication, traditional Sunni Islam as practised today, is the product of the corruption of the true religion of Islam by people like Bukhari.*

*As soon as Muslims deserted the Quran in favour of the hadith books, their religion was corrupted beyond belief. The practise of Islam today is but a reflection of the Islam of the scholars like Bukhari, Muslem, Nesaay, Termethy, Abu-Daoud and others. It is no longer the true message which prophet Muhammed delivered.*

*Not only did Bukhari break the rules that he claimed he used to ensure the authenticity of the hadith but his own personal feelings, political alliance and hatred to people like Ali Ibn Abu Talib affected his choice of what hadith to list in his book and what hadith to reject. He cared less about the content of the hadith itself . He listed many hadith that contradict the Quran, contradict other hadith, contradict common sense, insult God, insult prophet Muhammed, insult the prophet's wives and his family. The position that Bukhari took regarding Ali Ibn-Abu Talib vs his position towards Mu'aawyiah is but a reflection of the political corruption of Bukhari and his bias in listing the hadith that put down Ali while depicting his ardent enemy Mu'aawyiah as a pure and righteous man despite his known corruption and defiance of the simple Islamic laws. Bukhari narrated many hadith in his book, that are now labelled 'sahih' (authentic), by people who were considered liars, corrupted and untrustworthy. Muslim scholars who came after him were afraid to expose the truth and the shortcoming of Bukhari and other scholars of hadith and sunna like him. As a simple example, in the famous book 'Al-Mustadrek', the author states that Bukhari listed hadith taken from 434 persons who were not accepted by Muslem for his book 'Sahih Muslem' as trustworthy people. On the other hand, Muslem accepted in his book 625 persons who narrated hadith, who were rejected by Bukhari.*

*The corruption of Islam through hadith started during the prophet's life and accelerated soon after his death. This upholding of hadith is condemned by God and was also condemned by the prophet and the sahaba (companions of the prophet). This act reached its peak by the end of the third Hijra century when the famous six books (references) of hadith were written. The Quran states that the messenger will complain to God on the Day of Judgement of the Muslims deserting the Quran (25:30).*

*HADITH WHICH INSULTS PROPHET MUHAMMED*

*The compilations of Bukhari and Muslem are full of shameful hadith that insult God, prophet Muhammed, the Muslims, Islam and also the intelligence of any normal human being.*

*In this section we can check some of the insults to prophet Muhammed by the same people who claim to be trying to preserve his hadith! Their lies and fabrications are obvious, yet they still call their fabricated hadith 'sahih' (authentic)! The following are some examples*

*(1) The sahih books have many regulations that contradict the Quran. In one of these hadith, the prophet is portrayed as someone who disobeyed God by playing the role of a lawmaker, as we know the Quran categorically emphasises that God is the only lawmaker (6:114, 66:1). One such hadith claims that the prophet issued a different punishment for adultery than the one authorised in the Quran by God. The punishment for adultery in the Quran is given in 24:2 and it is 100 lashes. However, the hadith, which is obviously a lie against the prophet, gives a punishment of stoning to death for adultery!*

Muslim Book 17, Number 4192:

*'Ubada b. as-Samit reported that Allah's apostle said that the punishment of adultery in case of married persons is one hundred lashes and then stoning (to death).*

*In response to this glaring discrepancy between Quran and hadith, the hadith followers claim that there was a verse in the Quran which authorised the punishment of stoning, but that it was eaten by a goat and thus removed from the Quran! What an insult to God, to the prophet and to the integrity of divine revelation. How can a Quranic verse be eaten by a goat when God promised to preserve the Quran (15:9)?*

*(2) In another hadith, we read that prophet Muhammed used to have intercourse with his wives, 9 of them in the same night, and that he was given the sexual power of 30 men.*

Volume 7, Book 62, Number 6:

*"Narrated Anas: The prophet used to go round (have sexual relations with) all his wives in one night, and he had nine wives."*

*What does this shameful lie have to do with the message of the Holy Quran and of worshipping God alone! What kind of image is Bukhari trying to give the prophet by this hadith? Does Bukhari understand the core of the messengership of Muhammad to be primarily related to his sexual virility? Is this what Bukhari thinks that God has sent His prophet for?*

*Moreover, whoever accepts such hadith as being authentic is in actual fact contributing to the publication of such gross lies against the prophet of God.*

*(3) In Bukhari we read that the prophet prohibited the Salat at certain times of the day! Needless to say, there is no such restriction in the Quran. Moreover, it is totally absurd to think that a genuine messenger would prohibit the worship of God at any time of the day!*

Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 26, Number 695:

Narrated Abdullah:

*I heard the prophet forbidding the offering of prayers at the time of sunrise and sunset."*

*(4) In Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 93*

*we read the story of a necklace lost by Aysha (the prophet's wife), so the prophet instructed all the Muslims with him to find the lost necklace. In the meantime, the stated time for prayer became due and they offered prayer without ablution! So God decided to give the Muslims the option of tayymum (dry ablution).*

*Another shameful hadith, yet regarded as authentic!*

*Not only does this hadith insult the prophet by saying that he observed a nullified prayer (one without ablution), but it also implies that the law of God, in this case the law of dry ablution, was decreed by God only to accommodate the error of the prophet rather than the law of God being universal and totally independent of events related to humans.*

*(5) In Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 82, Number 796 we read*

*"A group of people from the Oreyneh and Oqayelh tribes came to the prophet to embrace Islam. The prophet advised them to drink the urine of camels! Later on when they killed the prophet's shepherd, the prophet seized them, gouged out their eyes, cut their hands and legs, and left them thirsty in the desert to die."*

*This is the picture which the hadith books depict of the prophet, a man whom God described in the Quran as being compassionate and of high moral character. The hadith depicts him as a barbarian who gouges people's eyes out and cuts their hands and legs! This is not to mention the alleged instruction for drinking the urine of camels!*

*Now do we know why God described His Book (Quran) as the best hadith? Do we know why we should believe nothing but the Quran (45:6)?*

*Only the enemies of God, the enemies of prophet Muhammed and the enemies of Islam are the ones who uphold such books of hadith.*

*Maybe we now know why God said it is the enemies of the prophet who will fabricate these books (6:112) and that the hypocrites will be the ones who will accept them and uphold them. No wonder then that the messenger will complain to God on the Day of Judgement that his people deserted the Quran (25:30).*

*(6) Perhaps one of the hadith which are used most frequently to attack Islam and the prophet is the following one:*

Volume 7, Book 62, Number 64:

*Aysha narrated:

that the prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years (i.e., till his death).*

*Needless to say, if this was true it would be a gross insult against the prophet and also a case of child abuse to say the least. This story is undoubtedly a lie against the prophet and also against Aysha who is claimed to have said these words.*

*(7) The prophet describes women as crooked!*

Volume 7, Book 62, Number 113:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

*Allah's apostle said, "The woman is like a rib; if you try to straighten her, she will break. So if you want to get benefit from her, do so while she still has some crookedness."*

*Yet another hadith which is undoubtedly a lie against the prophet. This claimed hadith smells of a male dominated culture which treated women as second class inferior creatures, and not the words of a prophet sent by God. Yet another fabricated lie against the prophet.*

*(8) The prophet declared: "The best women are the ones who ride camels"!*

Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 19:

“Narrated Abu Huraira: *The prophet said, "The best women are the riders of the camels and the righteous among the women of Quraish. They are the kindest women to their children in their childhood and the more careful women of the property of their husbands."*

*Riders of camels? Would God's prophet really give such a criterion for evaluating women!*

*(9) Perhaps one of the most glaring lies against the prophet is the one which claims that the prophet allowed couples to marry for a few days to satisfy their lust!*

Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 52:

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah and Salama bin Al-Akwa':

*While we were in an army, Allah's apostle came to us and said, "You have been allowed to do the Mut'a (marriage), so do it." Salama bin Al-Akwa' said: Allah's Apostle's said, "If a man and a woman agree (to marry temporarily), their marriage should last for three nights, and if they like to continue, they can do so; and if they want to separate, they can do so."*

*This lie is double fold. First, it portrays the prophet as a lawmaker besides God, which violates a number of Quranic verses that confirm that God is the only law giver such as 6:114 and 66:1. Second, it gives ground to people to approach marriage with a totally different attitude than the one designed by God. The words "muta marriage" translates to "marriage for lust", this in reality is a very subtle and disguised form of prostitution!*

*Needless to say, all the obstacles placed by God on the man before he can divorce his wife such as: to wait 4 months as a cooling period before divorce (2:226), seek a council from the 2 families (4:35), give the wife a divorce compensation (2:241), not expel the wife from the marriage home (65:1), all these obstacles are there to establish the fact that God regards marriage as a long lasting bond between man and woman, and not a three day fling that tests a couple's evaluation of each others sexual performance!*

*We may wonder what would a couple find out about each other after a three day highly sexual so-called marriage other than each other's sexual performance!*

*(10) Another glaring lie against the prophet is found in the hadith below. Throughout the Quran we are told that prophet Muhammad had no personal miracles. And in other verses God speaks to the prophet and tells him if the people ask you for personal miracles that he should say that he is no more than a human messenger with no miracles (see 17:90-93).*

*However the following hadith presents the prophet as one with awesome miracles:*

Bukhari, Volume 5, Book 58, Number 208:

Narrated Anas bin Malik:

*The people of Mecca asked Allah's apostle to show them a miracle. So he showed them the moon split in two halves between which they saw the Hiram mountain.*

*Examples of hadith which insult God*

*To follow are some examples of hadith which contain insults against God.*

*It may be useful to remind ourselves first of what God Almighty says about Himself in the Quran:*

*The vision perceives Him not while He encompasses all visions.*

*He is the Gentle One, the All-Aware. 6:103*

*There is nothing that is akin to Him. 42:11*

*When Moses asked to see God (7:143), God told him that he cannot see Him.*

*Now let us read some of the fabrications Bukhari and Muslem have in their books describing God and claiming it to be the words of the prophet:*

*(1) God appears to His believers and they see Him as they see the full moon!* (Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 93, Number 529).

*(2) God put His foot over Hell fire so it becomes full, (Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 78, Number 654).*

*(3) God laughs as humans!*

 (Muslem Book 1, Number 349).

*Other "sahih", lies and fabrications*

*In this section some of the most outrageous lies and fabrications, which the hadith scholars call authentic (sahih), presented. These hadith were approved in the hadith collections as long as their 'isnad' (chain of narrators) was considered creditable! This was done irrespective of the content of the hadith. Whether it contradicts the Quran or common sense did not seem to matter much! The following are just a sample of these sahih lies:*

*(1) Do not drink standing up*

Sahih Muslem, Book 23, Number 5017:

*"Abu Hurayra said, the messenger of God said, "Do not drink while standing up, if someone forgot and did it, he should vomit what he drank."*

*(2) Urinate in a standing position*

Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 3, Book 43, Number 651:

*"The messenger of Allah urinated while standing."*

*(3) Do not urinate in a standing position*

Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol 1, Book 1, Number 308

*"Do not urinate standing up."*

*(4) Man in the image of God*

Sahih Moslem, Book 40, Number 6809:

*Abu Hurayra said that the messenger of God said, "Allah the Exalted and Glorious created Adam in His own image."*

*Another lie and fabrication narrated by Abu Hurayra, and accepted by Muslem in his collection.*

*(5) Adam was 60 arm's length high and 7 arm's length wide*

Musnad Ahmad:

*Abu Hurayra said, the prophet said, "God created Adam, 60 arm length high and seven arm length wide."*

And in Sahih Muslem, Book 40, Number 6795 Adam is 60 cubits high!

*(6) Women, dogs and donkey*

Sahih Muslem, Book 4, Number 1032:

*"The messenger said that a prayer is void if an ass, woman or black dog passes in front of the one praying."*

*What a gross insult to women, could these words really come from a prophet of God?*

*(7) Bad omen in the woman*

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 30:

*"Bad omen is in the woman, the horse and the home."*

*Another reflection of the prejudice against women that was a character of those who fabricated hadith. True Islam which is derived from the Quran gives full respect to the woman and never uses such descriptions.*

*(8) Distinction and no distinction among the messengers, contradiction*

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 55, Number 608:

Ibn Abbas said, the prophet said; "No one should say that I am better than Younus (Jonah) Ibn Matta."*

Despite the above hadith, we find that the hadith books are full of stories that make prophet Muhammed more superior to all the other prophets and human beings. These hadith contradict the above hadith and also contradict the teachings of the Quran. The Quran contains a clear command to all believers not to make any distinction among God's messengers (2:285). Those who have been claiming to follow the hadith books have conveniently ignored the repeated hadith that call on the believers not to make distinction among the messengers.

SUNNI ISLAM IS NOT THE DEEN ISLAM THAT ALMIGHTLY ALLAH PRESCRIBED.

Sunni Islam, Shia Islam, etc are innovative religions that were not authorized by Allah the Almighty.

The Qur'an was revealed by Allah to the final prophet, Muhammad, through the archangel Gabriel (Jibril), incrementally over a period of some 23 years, beginning on 22 December 609 CE, when Prophet Muhammad was 40, and concluding in 632, the year of his death.

Almighty Allah perfected the religion of Islam by the Qur'an (which confirms the previous scriptures) in the early 6th century through Prophet Muhammad.

After the completion of the final testament, the Holy Qur'an, Allah said:

"... This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion..."-(Qur'an 5:3)

The Religion before Allah Is Islam (submission to His Will):

Almighty Allah stated in the Qur’an:

Deen with Allah is Islam. Those to whom the Scripture was given differed only after knowledge came to them, out of envy among themselves. Whoever rejects the verses of Allah—Allah is quick to take account.-(Qur'an 3:19)

Sunni Islam was founded by Abu al-Hasan al-Ash'ari (873–935). The ancient schools of fiqh or sharia in Islam are known as "madhhabs." In the beginning, Islam was classically divided into three major sects. These political divisions are well known as Sunni Islam, Shia Islam, and Khariji Islam. Al-Ash'ari was born in Basra, Iraq.

Al-Ashʿari's school eventually won wide acceptance within some sects of Sunni Islam.

Madhab was established through man-made Hadith around the 9th century:

The major Sunni madhhabs are Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, and Hanbali. They emerged in the ninth and tenth centuries CE and by the twelfth century, almost all jurists aligned themselves with a particular madhhab.

These four schools recognize each other's validity and they have interacted in a legal debate over the centuries. Rulings of these schools are followed across the Muslim world without exclusive regional restrictions, but they each came to dominate in different parts of the world.

For example, the Maliki school is predominant in North and West Africa; the Hanafi school in South and Central Asia; the Shafi'i school in East Africa and Southeast Asia; and the Hanbali school in North and Central Arabia.

Sunni view of Hadith:

Kutub al-Sittah-Kutub al-Sittah are six books containing collections of hadiths.* *Sunni Muslims accept the hadith collections of Bukhari and Muslim as the most authentic (sahih), and while accepting all hadiths verified as authentic, grant a slightly lesser status to the collections of other recorders. There are, however, four other collections of hadith that are also held in particular reverence by Sunni Muslims, making a total of six:

Sahih al-Bukhari of Muhammad al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim of Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj, Sunan al-Sughra of Al-Nasa'i, Sunan Abu Dawud of Abu Dawood, Jami' at-Tirmidhi of Al-Tirmidhi, Sunan Ibn Majah of Ibn Majah,

There are also other collections of hadith:

Musannaf of Abd al-Razzaq of 'Abd ar-Razzaq as-San'ani, Musnad of Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Mustadrak of Al Haakim, Muwatta of Imam Malik, Sahih Ibn Hibbaan, Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah of Ibn Khuzaymah, Sunan al-Darimi of Al-Darimi.

In fact, there was not a single hadith of Prophet Muhammad besides Allah's Qur'an, not even written by his companions. When these Hadiths were written there was not a single companion of Prophet Muhammad who was alive to verify them as authentic.

This is how Islam has been divided into sects by the Scholars with their Hadith around three hundred years after the demise of Prophet Muhammad.

*These innovative unauthorized religions differ from Allah's deen Islam by disobedience.

In the Deen of Islam, the concept of Madhab was not authorized by Almighty Allah. The division of Muslims into multiple sects goes against the very fundamental tenet of Islam which was non-existent during the time of the Prophet Muhammad because it was not permitted by Almighty Allah.

That is why Almighty Allah commanded Prophet Muhammad not to follow such an aspect.

Almighty Allah stated in the Qur'an:

He decreed for you the same deen decreed for Noah, and what we inspired to you, and what we decreed for Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: "You shall uphold this one deen, and do not divide it." The idol worshipers will greatly resent what you invite them to do. Allah redeems to Himself whomever He wills; He guides to Himself only those who totally submit.-(Qur'an 42:13)

As for those who divided their religion and became sects—you have nothing to do with them. Their case rests with Allah; then He will inform them of what they used to do.-(Qur'an 6:159)

The Religion before Allah Is Islam which has been derived from the divine Book of Allah the Holy Qur'an (which confirms the previous scriptures), obviously not Sunni Islam, Shia Islam, etc which are derived from the man-made Hadith.

Almighty Allah stated in the Qur’an:

*Deen with Allah is Islam. Those to whom the Scripture was given differed only after knowledge came to them, out of envy among themselves. Whoever rejects the verses of Allah—Allah is quick to take account.-(Qur'an 3:19)*
